I hear you brother ! Just sold my W900 yesterday. It’s so bad out there for trucking right now, especially for Owner/Operators… We can’t survive on $1.5-$2 a mile.
This is true , I sold my w900 and I kept the t680 . I figured I’d the drivers don’t want to work , theirs no reason to have equipment park . If I keep driving won’t never go under . Time is tough but decided to get out my comfort zone . And pick up a dedicated lane . Las Vegas to salt lake three times a week
You know they say the first truck is what you want and the second truck is what you need. You made a wise decision Nick, although that truck is beautiful it had to be a tough decision for sure.
A sad day to sell that beautiful peterbilt but when trucking gets tough it’s a very good business decision so wishing you and Jessica all the best for the future in your future business so keep on trucking cheers from tim in queensland australia
It was hard to see your former truck leaving your yard. It has been symbolic of you Nick and the wonderful RUclips videos now a memory. Best ventures ahead.
Dam dude this is wild. I remember when you first picked it up. Kinda freaks me out I been trucking my own truck for about 1.5 years and sometimes I wounder what the future will look like. I work local here in Southern California it's been steady since I started so I can't really complain the only days that have been slow I use them to rest and relax and catch up on myself. But good luck to you brother.
Best thing I did was to buy a older truck with a 12.7 Series 60 ,CASH! I have it for two years now, still working flawlessly OTR. It is a money making tool (FLD). I feel sorry for the guys who committed to ridiculous monthly payments. That is NOT the way to do it.
Congrats on the sell and the future of your business. When I sold my 1st truck I almost cried and my pops said this is how Trucking business works. Blessings to you and your family
Love the channel, reminds me of what I miss and don't miss about trucking. I learned not to get attached to equipment (especially when I had employees). Good luck. Will be watchin'
Nick, love ur show. Hate to c u sell her. I drove 35 yrs. and know that was a sweet ride. I think u r a more down to earth guy than Justin( just truckin) seems he has a big family, alot of toys, big home, and big hopes for truckings future, but when times get really tough a feller can lose it all, and it can depent on the one u love the most, take care Nick and good luck young man!!
Been watching your video for two weeks now and just truckin brought your name up that day you were coming to visit him, anyway I like your personality and attitude. New subscriber here.
How is it going Nick , I think you definitely done the right decision at this time , I got out of it almost 8 months ago , Got into another little business and I have made more money in 3 months NET than I did in 6 months of running my 18 Wheeler and home every night , I think I should have done this decades ago , keep your videos going be safe take care yourselves NICK
Wild. mine is gone also, took a local daycab job by the hour. Things are getting BAD, most O/O's I know are selling, and a bunch of other YT guys are selling. Congrats on getting out at the right time.
I remember talking to my trucks at times as if they realy were alive. In the end though it is a tool. What it comes down to is having the best tool for the job. Family always comes first.
Congratulations hope the future has something brighter in store. Bought my truck in 2003 and still sitting in it to this day. Having no payments gives you so much freedom with this industry and family life you will love it.
I have had 3 rigs that I say were the most amazing. A 97 379 an 03 W900 and a 08 389. Out of all of them. The 97 pete was by far the most powerful, the most cost efficient. And by far the sexiest. Sure new is cool. But new also costs. I just want to say as a small fleet owner. And as my hero Lou Holtz told me 25 years ago. " Follow you dreams. Most never get a chance to do so." That being said. Do it if you can. I am sitting here in Japan watching history from 3000 years ago. As a history nut. Thats hard to beat. Im glad you found a good deal on her. I wish I could have made a respectful offer
Nick, Quoteing Tommy boy, And then singing Boys to men its so hard to say goodbye. Hopefully you had a nice bowl of ice cream to sooth your acheing heart.
Man , Just want to say congratulations. You made sound decision . I am actually selling my truck too but its been tough . People want to lowball and offer stupid prices . I hope you got what you were asking for or close . Can you share which platform you use to advertise . Be blessed
Truck Paper was the best. I tried a different route but the only people that called me on that had already seen it on truck paper. I didn't get what I was asking but I got close.
Stick to driving dude, and leave the singing to the professionals.🤣😂 Congrats on selling the truck and good luck on your new adventures. Keep us posted.
Nick love your videos even though I am not a truck driver. You are the only trucking channel I watch. Im not sure to congrat you or be sad for you about selling your truck, I seen how the day you picked it up how much pride and joy it brought you. I know you dont want to say about whats in store next for you but are you staying in the trucking industry?
I'm happy for you Nick. Can't wait to follow you on your new journey. She was a pretty red oval though. Merry Christmas to you and the family. Truck it safe brother 😎
Congrats on selling El Waso Nick, damn she was fine, after detailing 😍 exited, to see what you have in store for the future! Liked the Tommy Boy quote👌😂 See you on the next one bud!
Mr Nick. I'm sure it was a bitter sweet day watching it leave the house. I for sure will continue watching your journey. Love your positive attitude and work ethic. Peace 🇺🇲
80 percent of usa population lives east of Mississippi River so that means truckers looking for loads in huge market that pays nothing.but good luck to you and family.there will be other trucks.kw.hopefully.lol.happy holidays to you and yours
Just saying, I would not rely on you solo singing career! Looking forward to your next adventure. I hope the girls softball team has enough to get started out right. Thank you for doing that. 😂😂
Don't stress Nick, onward with your plans. Now a couple yrs. into it you have more info to make decisions.... and, if you want another one of those, that ain't the last one they made 😁.
Now you can go to SCORE and get business advice. They are a panel of5 professional business men(retired) that will help you make the right decisions for your business and especially for your family if your ego will allow it.
Hey Nick! Well you already said it. You know that you weren't going to keep the truck forever. Sure you have a plan and good luck what ever it is Sure you will make it work. Stay Safe and God Bless catch you later. PEACE ✌...
I hear you brother !
Just sold my W900 yesterday.

We can’t survive on $1.5-$2 a mile.
Yep... sell the equipment while it still has equity and keep moving forward.

I was gonna get rid of that truck eventually... I just pulled the trigger a couple years earlier than I would have under normal circumstances.
Well your smart and very mindful of making good business decisions so I'm excited to see where you take Velox18 Trucking from here!

Sad 😢 Day,,will never be the same !!!
Watched a few of your vids, that truck and trailer setup looks like the same one High Strung Vlogs runs.
Wishing the best for you and your family!!! Blessings!! From modesto ca, 👍
There’s only 2 times when an owner operator smiles. When he buys he’s first truck, and when he sells it.
Dang man that guy did a great job!!! 👍 gona miss watching 👀 😢 that truck. 😢
I think since you sold the truck, you will get a freighter or a peat, with a bigger cab,for you can take your family with you on trips!
😢😢Sad day, such a nice truck!! Hopefully you’ll be pleased with your next ride.🤞🤞
Congratulations hope the future has something brighter in store. Bought my truck in 2003 and still sitting in it to this day. Having no payments gives you so much freedom with this industry and family life you will love it.
God bless brother!! You’ll get another rig down the road!
You got the voice of an Angel! If the truck thing doesn't work out. Come out to Cali! Set up studio time for you!
Hahaha
Good Morning from Ethridge Tennessee.
I have had 3 rigs that I say were the most amazing. A 97 379 an 03 W900 and a 08 389. Out of all of them. The 97 pete was by far the most powerful, the most cost efficient. And by far the sexiest. Nothing wrong with keeping and running an older paid off truck lol... I can't wait to pay mine off.
Wish you all the best man and we know that our God has you and will continue to keep you.
Selling is a bitter sweet moment. I sold everything back in may, do i regret it? No but I do miss it.
This is literally my goal to own this specific truck I want to own this as my first truck starting off I love it visually and what it can do
You have to do what's best for you and your family! Did you see the changes "Trucking Together" made? They seem to be satisfied with what they did!
Nick,
Quoteing Tommy boy,
And then singing Boys to men its so hard to say goodbye.
Hopefully you had a nice bowl of ice cream to sooth your acheing heart.
