Great to finally hear a big dry meinl ride in a metal context! I love the sound of dry cymbals but I'm so scared of dropping 400 on one of these only to not be heard above a fat guitar mix.
I know VERY little about drums. I play guitar, and not very good. I cannot play Revocation songs on guitar lol, but I love a lot of their music. This seems like absolute madness! Is this considered top tier drumming in 2021? How can I even begin to learn something so complicated? I have drums, but I have nothing CLOSE to this kind of speed/accuracy/rhythm. WTF?

i always feel like dry washy rides aren't great for metal, but the bell on this one sings and cuts right through

what are the ECM 87s like as overheads?
I like them - I tend to prefer LDC for overheads just cause they aren't super pokey... I am however looking at the KM184s for an upgrade!
