His on-stage persona is a devilish image with the use of 💀 & ☠️ He has given up believing in anything religious due it causing so much of death and destruction. "Never ending Hill" received a Grammy nomination in the "Best Metal Performance" category in 2008🎸
Much respect to review King Diamond and to do so with an open mind. As others have noted, his albums are conceptual and to fully appreciate them one must listen to them from start to finish in one sitting. Listening to King is an experience. He always surrounds himself with excellent musicians. I started listening to Mercyful Fate in the mid 80s and never tire of anything King produces. Some albums clearly stronger than others but such an underrated talent. Enjoy the rest of his catalogue.
Bout time to see someone else appreciate what you were looking at and listening to it is very hard for other people to grasp on the way his voice is so I'm just very happy to finally see people that get it thanks for your reaction
Glad you liked it not many people like King Diamond's vocals the first time earing them. The next song you should check is The Trial by King Diamond.

In the album Them missy gets in the way so grandma sends her away listen to bye bye missy of them album also in them album king kills his grandma then get sent to the insane asylum where his just was and just to let you know every king diamond album is all connected from the first to his 13 album
Haha, I love this video. If you want to let someone hear KD for the first time, this song is a bad choice for it is one little piece from a concept that stretches over two albums (with an in between track on a mini album). Also the vocals and the musical experimentation are often a put off for new listeners. But you guys, you digged it for its quality. You're open to it and listen to it.
Without knowing the concept story a horror story from the albums 'Them' and 'Conspiracy' , without knowing KD or Mercyful Fare, you guys hit the nail ever so often on the head and even figured already a few things out about King Diamond's songs that many of his fans overlook.
It is not because you liked the song that I liked this video. I like this video for this is actually a refreshing 'reaction' video.
