JiDion’s in denial about how much of a menace pranksters are. People have irrational reactions to the pranks bc the pranks are irrational actions and they don’t know what tf is going on. Also saying he tries to look mentally ill to put people at ease? That would scare most people *more*.

I think the worst part about pranksters on these days is that these pranks are made on random people and these pranks involve inconveniencing someone who the prankster doesn’t know is going through . You’re suppose to prank your friends or family . Not strangers . That’s how you forfeit your liberty , rights and or life .
Or at least make the prank minimal contact with the other person. Most pranks that involve the stranger physically usually gets out of hand from the prankster with harassment, taking peoples items, antagonizing. I’ve seen pranks from Lofe where he’s just being a little shit and barely gets physical.

as someone who actually consumes a lot of the "prank" youtubers these days, they dont really even do "pranks" its the whole "mic'd up" crowd like ppl like baylen levine, tj breese and that whole crew. where 95% of the videos consist of them going into public stores KNOWING they cant film and like purposely don't even try to hide the camera or hide the fact they are filming, and their entire "prank" consists of them going into the store, messing around for a little bit until an employee INEVITABLY stops them and politely asks them to leave and they keep the act going pretending to be oblivious to stores filming policies and then eventually get kicked out or trespassed and then leave the store usually without incident, and then they upload the "prank" and name it "getting arrested at target (cops called)" and then do the same thing next video.
like there is RARELY if ever an actual "prank" or really even "funny bits" in the video, unless you are 13 and think its funny to say weird shit to service employee's working. its 99% them just fucking around with employees and getting kicked out of places as content. they actually give the old prank youtubers a bad name, at least they put effort into the prank and had cameras set up and hidden etc.

Especially when Jidion is saying things like “I want them to think I’m mentally ill so they think I’m not a threat” I’m gonna be way more on edge and fearful if I think someone fucking with me is mentally ill and that logic doesn’t apply to them. So I’m much more likely to interpret actions as hostile when they do shit. But how many people are gonna throw hands against a mentally ill person with a bunch of friend in tow? So they aren’t gonna get attacked unless they do some really outrages shit against a pretty aggressive and tough person to be willing to get into a fight with a group of mentally ill people. But the people they are pranking are probably fearing for their safety and get to live with that emotional burden all because some asshole wanted to make content. I have stage 4 nerve cancer and have one of the most cruel and brutal lives imaginable, the last thing I need is some mentally ill fucking with me. And if I’m in fear for my safety and shit starts then it’s going right to a fight to the death, cause my body ain’t built for that, so I gotta go right for the throat, eyes, head etc if I want a chance.

JiDion's original justification based on the full context his homie gave him seems flawed: Did the prankster know the man he was pranking had this crazy past before pranking him? If he didn't, then that is a justification after the fact; it can't be applied to many other scenarios. What if the person that got pranked is in the worst period of their life (family died, lost everything, etc), and that prank was the last straw & the guy shot the prankster. I doubt he would criticize the shooter as harshly.
Also, saying the person being harassed should just beat up the prankster instead of shooting/nearly killing them isn't a great solution either. All it takes is one punch for some ppl to die or get hurt in a life altering way. What could JiDion say to that? Yes there are extreme ways to react to situations morally, but at the same time you can't control how a person responds to a situation that is happening to them, so it's hard to feel bad for anyone getting seriously hurt from a situation they caused

There's something evil about saying: "I can prank you and you're allowed to punch me in return". Because the guy who throws the punch would be the one arrested for assault. There is rarely any punishment for the prankster because "he's just joking bro, why so serious?". This is precisely why I'm ok with pranksters dying tbh. They actually need to start dying in large numbers so that pranksters start fearing for their lives. And I'm not even joking lol. They need to realize their lives are in danger and that what they're doing is wrong / stupid and can result in extremely bad consequences. It's literally the only way for these degenerates to learn.
To Jidion it may sound absurd but to me it's perfectly logical. If you play with fire you can get burned, and you need to get burned or fear getting burned in order to stop doing it. But with pranksters there's nothing. If you antagonize someone for views and get away with it, it creates an incentive to keep doing it. There's nothing stopping these people from doing horrible things to others. So yes the dying part is a natural part of the equation.
People would be more against shooting pranksters if pranking was a crime. Then you could simply call the cops on the pranksters. But because there's no legal recourse people naturally only see two response. Fight or flight. And the fighting back could result in your death, which you deserved.

JiDion, the point of a PRANK is to make the person involved laugh embarrassingly because they got got. Taking someone's luggage is NOT going to result in a person just laughing it off.
