Glen @.13 seconds into the vid i see the go pro on your lower back / waist. Is that the chesty harness worn backwards or a bb belt? I've tried the chesty backwards & it was very floppy. What are you using? Thanks!
Yes it is the chesty harness worn backwards and yes the floppyness does suck but found this helps - Get a pair wetsuit shorts cut a hole in the back about as big as a bottle cap then pull the shorts up over the belt and poke the gopro through the hole. And add board shorts to for even more support, no need for a hole in them just wear like normal and tie up tight. Maybe I'll make some vids to show tips like this
Glen Holzl Thats a great idea! Do you have footage of just the backwards chesty only? In the uk they built a bodyboard belt yet the footage for there product was not very convincing. Iv'e been using the go pro bodyboard mount with good results except it's on one side of the board only. So if its on the right & the day calls for leftys i'm screwed hahahaha! I love the vantage point of the 3rd person pole setup, but it seems too much of a chore during an epic day.
TheGregagain this one's all backcam ruclips.net/video/sBoVQEGogHM/видео.html but its still to shaky for my liking . Filming backcam and 3rd person view can be a bit of a chore.... so I recommend you try the ONE BUTTON START function on you gopro
WoW! I like this. Like i explained with the go pro board mount it looks great but if the day calls for lefts & rights i'd be screwed. With this backwards chesty it don't matter. Was this the " through the wet suit shorts" technique ?
