This video was really well done. I usually hate chess analysis videos because they start rambling Idk if my mood is different but I understood everything you said in this video. It was also not too long of the "what ifs" they were sped up and explained pretty well.
Absolutely loved this recap and the tempo. Thanks for including the PGNs as well! Would love for more in-depth King's Gambit analysis, since it's by far my favourite opening :) #sub151
Nice Video. Helped me learn more about the Kings Gambit and I found the last winning move 😊 It couldve been perfect if you played some german romantic era piano music like Clara Schumann or Franz Schubert instead of Mozatt 😉
Playing more than 40 years chess and despite knowing several of his famous games, e.g. the immortal or the Evergreen i never realized, what a strong attacker Anderssen really was - until your video. Great job!
My database has 210 KG games of which Anderssen won 96, lost 98 and had 16 draws. Ok, but less than 50% win rate isn't really impressive. it also has 58 KG games by Paul Morphy with 47 wins (9 0f which were blindfold), 8 losses, 3 draws (all blindfold). Anderssen and Morphy played 6 KGs. Anderssen won 1, Morphy won 5. I think we can see who was the real King of the King's Gambit.
I like watching chess, I like hearing about the lines, a bit of advice, speak normally, your voice goes up at the end of each sentence which is really off putting for me.
The King's Gambit is by far my favorite opening - it's never boring and never results in a draw! Terrific video, glad to be your 145th sub :)
Never result a draw and victory
I dont agree Morphy Was better
Never results in a draw😂
Because it always results in a loss
Love the vibes and your patient explaining of the alternaitve lines possible. Really good for learning. Happy to be your 24th sub :)
And now he’s gonna have 24k subs
@@Zork2478true! You love to see it. Well deserved.

Clicked the video hoping it was about Anderssen. Was not disappointed. His Immortal and Evergreen games made me fall in love with chess.
Good content! I enjoy playing the kings gambit but there are some lines that can be very sharp but fun!
Yes. I totally missed that Bishop to F7 is a Check Mate if he moves his knight.

Thanks I had been looking for king's gambit as I had lost once very badly.
Really great ✨ thanks

I already subscribed hoping for a wonderful contents like this in the future. Keep it up. God bless..
One of my favorite openings. Would love to continue looking more, but the music os so distracting.
Amazing
If you like to play the King's Gambit, I suggest you check out the games of the 10th World Chess Champion, Boris Spassky. Simply amazing!
Great stuff!! Shame about the background muzak.
Love you
I loved the KG when I played chess (2K rating). It was my only alternative to the Ruy.
Excellent gag
Am a KG player though not always a winner

There is this guy named Boris Spassky who also played the King's Gambit pretty well when he was a younger man. Maybe you've heard of him lol.
Your voice is in chess immortal
❤❤❤
My favorite part is
...... Back to the game
subbed
Yeah... but can you show a KGA with tactics?
Good content but maybe speak with a non “question mark” tone.
He spoke and The video too fast . And if possible write down the movement of the chess pieces.

I could not play like that.
Schallop is pronounced like English Shullop.
The greatest king's gambit and the greatest player was PAUL MORPHY
D6 or BE7 played at the right time kill the KG stone dead. It's bs.
Maybe if you dont start with 2 x 20 sec adverts, you might get more subscribers
