Official Birthday Sunday June 28,1998 Birth Card 2 of Clubs! Born a mutant, young 🌱 Bobby Drake was almost lynched when his ability to freeze 🥶 moisture in the air was discovered! Bobby was saved by CYCLOPS of the X-MEN and became the second 🥈 recruit to Professor Charles Xavier's School 🏫 for Gifted Youngsters where he would learn to control 🛂 his mutant gifts! Adopting the code name 📛 Iceman, Drake fought as one 🕐 of the X-MEN battling such menaces as MAGNETO'S BROTHERHOOD OF EVIL MUTANTS, the JUGGERNAUT and the robotic SENTINELS! Upon graduation, Iceman attempted to forge a Super-Heroes career on his own, founding the Champions of Los Angeles! When the X-Men split in two 🕑 he co-founded the Jean Grey for Higher Learning with Wolverine! Jean Grey discovered that the younger,time-displaced version of Bobby was gay! The young 🌱 Bobby confronted his older self who admitted he was hiding his feelings! Inspired by the self-confidence of his younger version, he began living as openly gay mutant!
