great room tour man! as someone who got into collection for the 360 recently I highly recommend keeping an eye out on that console. things are pretty cheap for it but will noticeably get pricey at one point.
Here's some questions. You don't have to answer all of them unless you want to. 1. Any plans to downsize any parts of the collection? I recently cleaned out most of my GameBoy and N64 shovelware, and it feels good to have the extra space. 2. Any thoughts on the recent Capcom leak? Specifically, any thoughts on the strong possibility that Great Ace Attorney (DGS 1 and 2) might finally be localized? 3. Do you have any way to play your import games? 4. What places do you shop online for used (not new) games? 5. Where do you find out who is holding a garage sale? I usually have to rely on Estate sales.net 6. Any plans to do a controller collection video? Or a collector's edition collection update? 7. Finally, it would be cool to see a video of the first 10 games you ever owned OR the first game you got for each console.
Nice collection and game room! You sound a lot like me in terms of how you acquire your games and know what you paid for them. For the majority of my collection, I can remember where I got them and what I paid. Most of the fun comes from the hunt.
Thanks! I like playing the games too, but the most fun part of collecting for me is tracking stuff down for a good price. It's not nearly as fun buying everything on eBay for full price.
Pretty nice collection man! I got a bunch of consoles and stuff just not that many games. Got like almost 4 of everything on the retro consoles. Just need to get me some boxes and more games to display.
Thanks! Unfortunately, I don't share my eBay on RUclips because it'd be too easy to get my personal information, sorry. I appreciate the interest though!
Great collection! I’m starting to get into collecting myself (n64 and other Nintendo systems to start) and am modeling my experience so far much like yours, going to garage sales/thrift stores and looking around. My question for you: on a typical search how many garage sales are you going to? What would you say your “success rate” in finding stuff you care about is?
nice tour! I have a controller specifically made for power shovel, its made by Taito and is very high quality twin joysticks. In the future I'm going to do a video on it. Subscribed to the channel
Thanks! I've seen the Power Shovel controller, it's pretty cool. It's pretty weird that a controller was even made for it, especially since I don't think the game was very popular in Japan (and obviously it didn't really sell too well in the west either).
@@ObjoGaming I think it was pretty popular in Japan. It spawned at least 3 other similar games from another company, Kenki Shovel Master and Kenki Crane Master (I forget the name on the 3rd one). They are in my collection, but I have yet to try them. I think they are compatible with the controller as the controller just mirrors the dual shock controller scheme. Gonna have to fire em up!
One suggestion for the next tour or video you do, run your video's audio through a filter to get rid of the high pitch sounds from the CRT. It really hurts my ears...
Underrated channel just saw this. I’m starting collecting I have some original Xbox games a couple of wii and GameCube games and ten Xbox 1 games so I’m getting off to a good start
too many people try to utilize all their wall and floor space making their collection look cluttered and confined. Your setup is clean, spaced out, yet still impressive
I just keep them in a plastic bin in storage right now. I've seen people use old Zippo displays and I'd like to do that but haven't been able to find one for a good price.
What is the shelf you are using to hold your connected Consoles and can it carry the weight of a CRT? Edit: The one I mean is the one with a square for each console
It's an IKEA shelf, don't remember which one or if they still make it, sorry. I used to store a bunch of vinyl records on it which are pretty heavy and the shelf would bow under the weight until I bought extra legs to put in the middle to reinforce it. It would probably hold a CRT, but you'd want to reinforce it.
@@ObjoGaming thanks. If you have any recommendations for a setup like that so that each square can hold a console and it can also hold something like 100lbs - 150lbs on the top for a CRT I would love to hear them.
@@ObjoGaming I also weep for the lack of pre nes stuff :/ I would say check out one of my last 10 videos, I showed 90% of my collection packed up and ready to be moved into a room like how you got, but I don't like peoole feeling obligated to watch, so up to you I drop no links. Sometimes you find odd stuff in storage, maybe not valued or complete but cool.
@@JasonVectrex_187 I don't do too much pre-NES because I don't really enjoy playing it too much. I used to but sold it all off to focus my collection better since I feel like I collect for enough systems already
Have you ever heard of customgamecases.com? they make cases with cover art for nes, snes, genesis, master sytem and n64 for 5 bucks a case..just a thought thats what I do with my retro games. Awesome room and collection man, subbed, liked, and bell. GOD bless.
Thanks for the support! I've seen Custom Game Cases, but they're not really for me. I like to try to collect stuff in the original box if possible, and at $5 each they'd really start getting expensive for the stuff that doesn't have boxes and I'd probably rather use that money for games.
I see game rooms for Nintendo players and Sony players and sega players and Xbox players and they all have so much stuff but then you look at a PC gamer setup and the PC gamer is just like oh I only have one rainbow colored computer and chair and a $500 keyboard
I mean it might be worth buying Wii games and playing bad games since you might like something out of them. Same with other systems. You can buy a bad game for couple of bucks and it might turn out to be something you like.
Truly amazing and yet not "overdone". Perfect. Retro, simple and modern. You should be proud brother!👍👍👍

Wow so many games I wonder how many you played through? I had only a small chunk of that and I consider myself a gamer.
I would put an arcade cabinet (Sega New Astro City or Blast City) in that open space area in the corner.
EINHANDER!
Great game played it when i was a kid good find very rare
Cool collection! Thanks for sharing. :)
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed.
*It looks amazing. But honestly, if I had that many options I would not be able to decide what to play first lol*
Thanks, my biggest problem is that I have a lot of games that I'd like to play and not enough time to play them all.
The high pitched interference in the audio feed is death to my ears, but the game room is terrific!
Great setup man. Quality stuff
Thanks!
Nice room! I'm jealous. Good taste in games too!!

Nice! Great room tour. Do you have any of the system boxes? Any plans on displaying them?

I love the layout with the 2 separate lounges. What are the dimensions of the room?

On an average good day I'll likely hit 80-100 sales and at most be successful in some way at 12-15.
Looks like a great place to game.
Great collection!

use one of the empty corners for a Arcade 1up partycade. Maybe even mod it to play all the mame games you want. thats what i would do

I recommend adding a surround system.

theres a really high pitched noise throughout the video and it makes it a bit hard to watch, I'm assuming it was from a crt?

Do they support weight well I'm going to have a whole one filled with vhs tapes
They support the weight of games with no problem, so I'd imagine VHS tapes would be perfectly fine.
