Believe me, you don't want to hear this sound on a record player. It means that the tonearms counterweight isn't well placed and your records are being scratched.
Not gonna lie, this made me tear up while eating my noodles lol The scratching(?) of the vinyl and the slightly old-like quality of the music is just amazing along with the comforting vibe of the music is just- Perfect :)
For some reason I feel like I'm in some kind of sad movie and this is my backstory Like, it's as if I had a mom who'd sing this as a lullaby to me before I slept but then she died, and this is how the lullaby would sound in a flash back or something
This is... too perfect, it's eerie. Just a while ago I woke up and had a dream about going to a big and cold mall. Met some friends I haven't seen in a long time and some that didn't really exist or i didn't recognize, and we all went to a large theatre. A performer walked to the stage, an almost impossibly tall and defined woman with a fancy red dress and a masquerade mask. Something didn't feel right about her. The way she walked, the way I couldn't really tell her features, and the way she almost didn't seem human. But her singing was beautiful, and it sounded very similar to this video. The melody was a little different, and the lyrics were something about red wine and drinking, but it sounds so eerily similar i'm getting chills just remembering it. It was a haunting tune. The main reason this scares me so much is because in the dream, as we listened to her sing, we all got in a trance. Her singing was beautiful, but sent chills down my spine cause something wasn't right about it. My body felt numb, and whenever I tried to move, I couldn't. It was like I was fighting against my own body. Soon, while she continued to sing, all of us in the audience started to choke and strangle each other against our will. I tried to look around and saw all of my friends trying to kill each other without making a single noise. All you could hear was the rustling of people moving and bodies falling, the occasional sounds of someone's hitched breath, and all while the woman on the stage sings beautifully. Even just thinking about it makes me shiver, and I could still quietly hear that haunting tune at the back of my head as if it hasn't left me. Quietly trying to get my attention once again. I think at some point in the dream I passed out and then I woke up from the dream. I woke up in a cold sweat and I felt exhausted for some reason. It was really cold and I felt like going back to sleep, but I also was scared to. Eventually I got up and looked for music to listen to for comfort, and I stumbled across this. I don't even know what to feel about this. It's so weirdly beautiful and inconsequential, but also scary and unnerving. The fact that I had that dream and then find this video in my recommended... the world is a weird and eerie thing. Such a small and weird little experience that doesn't really mean anything, but at the same time feels like something horrible just happened. And it all happened the day after Christmas... shivers down my spine again.
@@SharkOnWheels surprisingly, no. i usually get dreams about large cold malls pretty frequently, but recently i haven't had a single once this dream. still gives me chills thinking about it. sometimes i get continuations of previous dreams, and honestly i'm kinda excited but also terrified to get a continuation of that dream. if i ever do get a continuation, i'll be sure to update on what happens
I remember listening to this song when I was depressed as hell, and it brought me some comfort. Now I'm much better and I just have a smile on my face listening. Thanks for this video!! I love the vynil effect, it's beautiful and really fits the music well.
This version of this song played after a really emotional DND moment that the group had. Not only was it a character death of a npc we all enjoyed, but after the meeting, the Dm admitted that they created the character off of an old friend of ours that passed away. The moment The news hit and this song came on, the room was silent, yet at the same time, I almost felt like I heard their soft voice jokingly messing with the group, or their admitting they loved me one of the last times I saw them. To say the least, the song is now etched into my soul.
Rises The Moon is a special song to me. I remember crying my heart out one day, unable to breathe from the pain, and to try and calm myself down, I played shuffle on my playlist, and this played. It was so calming and comforting. Reminds me of the part of childhood I missed out on. Lullabies. Real lullabies. Thank you.
Imagine this: You and your crush have talked for a while. You had fun, talking and joking online. In person is even better, holding hands, making hand shakes. Being young made you happy. As you grew older, you have officially fitted in your mother's wedding dress. Beautiful and white. Long and fancy. Your white veil was placed on you, and you were ready to go. As you walked down the aisle, you see your love. They were happy. The pianist began to play, the song slowly dying out. "Im so glad I married you" Were your loves last words before everything disappeared. You were now awake, from your dream.
'I love you,' they said. The words echoed through my mind a billion times, until I fully grasped what they said. The person I've felt so strong about, the person I was sure I'd spend every moment of my life with, suddenly saying that they love me. My heart felt heavy, and my face felt warm. Memories flooded my mind, of us laughing and playing together. They saved me, and now they're here, saving me once again from the hellish place they call 'earth.' The moon slowly rises and I look at them, slightly smiling at the cheesiness of this whole thing. My stomach twisted, but I wasn't disgusted or upset. 'I love you too.' I said, without any hesitation. There face flushed up, and I giggled. 'how cute.' I thought. They knelt to the ground, 'will you, marry me?' they muttered, I took there hands and looked up at them, the kinda words they had said to me ran through my head. Suddenly, I kissed them. There eyes widened, and I just laughed. 'Of course.' My eyes flashed to a scene, a wedding. It was truly beautiful, just like my love. Songs on a piano started to play, and others chanted. 'I'm so glad I married you.' My love said. Then, suddenly, everything in my mind went blank, and my eyes opened. It was just a dream. Tears filled my eyes. 'God, I wish it was real.'

My perspective of the song; Someone lost a loved one. 1:32 floating is getting harder, it's getting harder to superate someone's death 1:38 "but tread the water child" someone else that superated trying to make the other one up 1:48 "days pull you up just like a daffodil" the daffodil is the person themselves 1:54 uprooted from the person's head 1:58 "they'll tell you what you owe" the person blaming themselves for the loved one's death, "it's your fault" 2:09 ...
Hi thanks so much! I’m probably the least fancy music editor on youtube- I literally screen record songs, edit them on kinemaster and add a record player sound effect over the top (also screen recorded) and then add the edited album cover of that song over the top. I do it all on my phone! :)
A few people have asked that but to be honest I have no idea how, and I don’t really want to go through all of the complications of it yet. I could do in the future but probably not for a while, sorry

Lyrics
Days seem sometimes as if they'll never end
Sun digs its heels to taunt you
But after sunlit days, one thing stays the same
Rises the moon
Days fade into a watercolour blur
Memories swim and haunt you
But look into the lake, shimmering like smoke
Rises the moon
Oh-oh, close your weary eyes
I promise you that soon the autumn comes
To darken fading summer skies
Breathe, breathe, breathe
Days pull you down just like a sinking ship
Floating is getting harder
But tread the water, child, and know that meanwhile
Rises the moon
Days pull you up just like a daffodil
Uprooted from its garden
They'll tell you what you owe, but know even so
Rises the moon
You'll be visited by sleep
I promise you that soon the autumn comes
To steal away each dream you keep
Breathe, breathe, breathe
now i know what this song is telling me..
Ikkk

Omg this is literally heaven to my ears . I love it.
Thanks so much! :)
This makes me cry fr fr..
i dunno what exactly this makes me feel. just emotions. and i think that’s okay. it’s okay to not know how or why something- in this case the song- makes me feel. i just think it’s something nice. maybe a bit nostalgic.
Peaceful.
i just got a record player and a bunch of almost 50 year old records from my grandparents and a few of the ones i’ve listened to have had a similar quality but the others play so smoothly and i love the sound of all of them
Oooo that’s so cool! Wish I had a record player but I guess youtube will do for now
@@ghostbug9185 i’ve been wanting one for a very long time so i’m very happy with it :) i hope you get a record player one day!

Haha aww thank you!
This is so precious!!! I love liana flores and this is my fav song ♡♡♡
Raise your words.
Not your voice.
It is rain that grows flowers.
not thunder.

Se escucha hermoso 😻
Awww gracias!!
I am going to acend into the astral plane from sheer aesthetic
This is very good ✨
Thank you!
Chills
Amazing
Thank you!
I keep getting cold. I think it sent chills down my spine, in a good way?
Thank you!! Lots of people keep saying that about these videos, I think it must be the record player sound effect
My perspective of the song;
Someone lost a loved one.
1:32 floating is getting harder, it's getting harder to superate someone's death
1:38 "but tread the water child" someone else that superated trying to make the other one up
1:48 "days pull you up just like a daffodil" the daffodil is the person themselves
1:54 uprooted from the person's head
1:58 "they'll tell you what you owe" the person blaming themselves for the loved one's death, "it's your fault"
2:09 ...
I love this sm. Could you please do Scary Movies, from Sleepy Soul next? I think it'd sound gorgeous.

WOAH ! This is really cool!! What program did you use / how did you get it to sound like this???
Hi thanks so much! I’m probably the least fancy music editor on youtube- I literally screen record songs, edit them on kinemaster and add a record player sound effect over the top (also screen recorded) and then add the edited album cover of that song over the top. I do it all on my phone! :)
Mi canción favorita:
Muchas gracias!
It sounds like it's a lullaby from the 1910s…
The beginning reminds me of the song Sparks by Coldplay
Oooo yeah I get what you mean. I actually posted sparks a bit ago too! :)
Oh really? That's nice! Are any of these on Spotify yet? Bc they should be
A few people have asked that but to be honest I have no idea how, and I don’t really want to go through all of the complications of it yet. I could do in the future but probably not for a while, sorry
@@ghostbug9185 Oh, sorry if I pressured you, I just really like these versions! Take your time, care for yourself first :))
Oh haha no it’s fine! I’m glad you’re enjoying my videos!
Yes.
Where’d you get the art? Is it meant to be upside down? How’d you get the audio? I like it.
Hi thanks for your comment! I flipped the album cover upside down and put a warm then grainy filter on it. I edited the audio on a video editor!
que lindo se escucha
Muchas gracias!
cured my mental health issues
Please send this to Spotify!!
Yeah a few people have asked that but to be honest I have no idea how, and I don’t really want to go through all of the complications of it yet. I could do in the future but probably not for a while sorry
@@ghostbug9185 oof, It's alright, no worries!

It's upside down but it's otay... I understand y
this sounds so pretty but the image is creeping me out for some reason
Thanks! Haha yeah I like making them a little bit creepy, but I also flip the pictures and edit them to make them more recognisable as my videos
mmm you should consider uploading this to soundcloud
It sounds warped imo
