I feel that a lot of people are confused by the product. I think some people think it’s powder foundation but they only intended this to be pressed setting/blotting powder to set your foundation and take the shine away from your skin throughout the day. Thats why you dont need a lot of shades because its supposed to be sheer and not cover anything.

Will buy it surely but minus point for me is they don't have any sponge for easy application like other compacts provide.. so for travelling u need to carry an additional brush!!
Yup bt having the sponge is actually not of much use
.u will carry a beauty blender u can use that to for the powder ...😅 and the pack is quiet sleek so adding the puff would have made it a bit bulky isn't it

Absolutely love your videos, as usual! And I agree with the pricing of their products. But then makeup most of the times is on the pricier side. If people can purchase Huda Eyeshadows, thanks to their great quality, they can also afford this if they really like it and want it!
Yes I agree with you. I just said I wish it was lesser coz it’s a nice product and I wish most people could have it 💕🤗 it’s totally worth it !
Nice review although I do feel the price is high for a regular compact powder. Kay is probably eyeing not the general public but more makeup conscious women willing to spend a tidy sum on it. That’s a little disappointing.
Hey, what do you think is better - compact or loose powder?
Only downside is there's no sponge/puff with this compact. It's fine to use at home but we usually take our compact with us in our purse to use on the go. Carrying a brush every time will be such a hassle.
Oh for me I carry a travel kind of a brush for tough and never like to use a sponge even on the go for powder as it looks patchy sometimes I feel. Brush gives the best light touch up for me. So I guess it didn’t bother me at all to not have a sponge. But I understand, to each his own.
That would be a topic to discuss upon . Pls do a video on travel options

Hello Madam, thank you for the review 😊. Does it oxidize ? I bought 160Y shade, as soon as I applied, my face looks dull and the it turns to slight orange colour.

I wish they had yellow undertone in medium shade as well and a puff to make it more handy. Since i saw the teaser i so wanted it to be a good coverage like a dupe of mac studio fix powder + foundation😐 i'll give it a pass
Its not foundation though, its just blotting powder. You use it after foundation so you really dont need that many shades. Most brands dont even offer 10 shades in blotting/setting powder. You will probably be able to find your shade but you’re not supposed to use it as foundation since it doesnt have that coverage. Its to set your base and take oiliness and shine away
@@user-uv4tv9po9j i know its a compact, maybe my expectations were high of a product that kay beauty has to offer at 799 whereas some other brands have few compacts that offer bit more coverage at around 500. If it was just for blotting and the shade wont show up why would i pay that much money for a product and that too when there is no applicator🙃
Sakshi Dutt It’s just pressed powder though. Most brands offer both loose powder and pressed powder. Fenty, for example, offers loose powder in various shades and also a pressed blotting powder in one shade. So the fact that kay beauty is offering 10 shades of pressed powder is a lot and everyone will be able to find a shade that works for them. I use loose powder to set my foundation and I keep a pressed powder in my bag to blot and make my makeup last throughout the day. I think they are launching their actual foundation soon but this isnt meant to provide coverage or conceal. I hope they also launch a powder foundation in the future
Ok now let this get clear loves ...kay beauty is a celebrity owned brand and like every other over priced celeb owned brands this is even better at the pricing and the quality as well ..I feel we think this to be affordable but u guys know that katrina made it natural coz she likes it that way she mentioned this at the release the brand also ...and taking in mind the puff thing ..it is not functional soo much... and the packaging is fine for most of uss isn't it no offense to anyone everyone has their own views ...so I know they are a bit steep bt I like the quality of the products..and also high cvrg stuff makes us look bit càkey and as I already mentioned she wants it to be light and natural it's completely your call to buy it or not !!!

@@user-uv4tv9po9j I have used kay beauty loose setting powder and loved it. My point is that maybelline and lakme also have powders in various range from 200 to 600. Low range ones are good for blotting and give no coverage whereas 5-600 range one such as lakme 9 to 5 primer+ matte, Maybelline powder foundation give slightly better coverage. This kay one has 3 undertones un medium 2 pink and 1 neutral, i didnt find my perfect match that is medium yellow.Another thing is missing applicator, I am fond of carrying light, a big fan of multipurpose products.like u said u use pressed powder to blot, i will have to carry sponge, puff or brush to apply this. Not every product of any brand is exceptional,its either hit or miss. Looking forward to what more Kay beauty has to offer🙂
