Been here since rn 15.000 subs and totally can see why you're growing steadily. You produce good content and every of your videos that I clicked, I watched till the end. I can't say that about every RUclipsr. Keep up the good work, Aivars.
@Aivars - thank you for your Blogs. Hello from Estonia :) I am 33 and I put an eye on your Planning system a year ago, and now I am implementing it to my workflows since I have now some space for that. At 30+ you understand that Persistence is the key - so thank you once again for your blogs, it motivates me to power up my Persistence with some simple methodologies - and also inspireы me to be persistent :) Best, Nikolay
Great video, Aivars! The other day I was watching a Sean Allen video about freelancing from 4 years ago and you were in the chat for his live stream. You have come a long way and happy to have found your channel because it is really inspiring for me! Congratulations on 25K!
Regarding your question. "Should I leave your Indie programming, and work only as a freelance?" I would say that It all depends of how much stress having two jobs gives you vs the rewards of having something that it´s is really your child. It is curious, I am interested in pursuing a career as a Program Manager, but you left it, to be programmer ;-)
Congratulations on this milestone! On to 50.000 !? I was wondering, how do you deal with the negative side of being in the spotlight? The haters, what other people think of you etc? I struggle with the last one, always fearfull of what other people might think of me 🤔It's why I stopped but I'd like to overcome it and get back to it. Advice? Tips?
Thanks! Yep, 50K is next milestone in the way to 100K idk if that age or I just matured, but in about 40s I stoped to care at all about haters and doing whatever I found interesting. Why should I spend my energy to worry about haters? Sometimes I'm checking their profiles to see what do they created and guess what, so far I didn't see single video from person who published anything on RUclips.
@@AivarsMeijers Well, that leaves me 5 more years before that kicks in 😛 But you're right. 99,99% of the time it's from people who are nowhere near doing what we want to do. I'll try to keep that in mind, thanks!
I love how your "co worker" is always with you. Showing up, taking action is already above and beyond the majority. Most are consumers and have no desire to actually take action. Starting anything always feels like a failure.... until it's not. you and I were born with the "how hard can it be?" gene and try many things! Congrats on 25k Aivars!!
I have short attention spawn as well, but I'm trying at least to have multiple things for extended period of time and switch between them. Now it is iOS freelance, indie business and content creation here and in social networks.

Thank you for feedback and long time support 🙌
I'm trying to keep making videos that I enjoy my self and do not sell soul to YT algorithm 😅
@@AivarsMeijers I like that

Yep, consistency is the key.
Congrats man! Been a subscriber since less 5k i think. Hopefully i will get to work to also become an ios dev like you and have the best progress.
Wow, that was a long journey to get here from 5K. Thanks for coming along.
Congratulation!!! This a great channel with clean advice which rarely find out in RUclips nowadays.
Keep going in the same direction.👏👏👏👏
I appreciate that!

Appreciate it!! Thanks for watching my videos 🙌
Most valuable subscription on y2b, congrats and keep up with great story telling :)
Much appreciated!
Fully agree with everything. Always looking for your future self!
Yep, looking back for a year or more surprises me as well, because in day to day life you do not feel the progress.
Thank you for sharing. A lot to learn from you.
So nice of you
Very inspiring. Just like everything in life, it takes time to master a skill and benefit from that effort.
Thank you my friend! 👊
Great content, highly motivational.
In my country, Spain, you will be less productive (the sun makes you feel like to go outside) 😂

Great video, thanks Aivars
Congratulations 🎉
No more beard, I was confused who this GUY was! 😂 Congrats to this slow growth. 🎉
It will be back eventually. I just have those "maybe I should shave" moments.
Really great video. Very inspiring. Any advice from where to start learning IOS? What courses to take? Thank you!
There are a few links in the description. Also, search for 100 days of SwiftUI, that is great free course for beginers.

Yep, showing upp and taking action is the hardest part, start something is relatively easy.
Thank you!
great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Who is this guy? The person I've subscribed to had a beard!?
He will be back in a week or two ;)
wise words from an old man :D. great video. GREAT tattoo!
:D I shaved to look younger, seems that didn't work.
Will keep working to cover all the hand.
@@AivarsMeijers hahaha. It worked but you're still old 😃😃😃. Looking forward to see tattoo update, you really have great taste and ideas

From coffins to Apps - not bad!
Those are benefits from being old, I have a few decades of different work experience ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
