Sage here! @revengeofsage (IG) Hope y’all all enjoyed the battle, just want to drop some insight to my creativity in this battle! 1st round: “Burning Sage - DavinciiProductions” I was holding and burning 2 sticks of Sage and embodying the smoke and purity. The punchline was to cleanse ‘Xcersist’. Track was directed by myself and materialized and crafted by @davincii.productions (IG) Round 2: “Residue - Cal” The glitter was my body cooling down from the heat of the sage and becoming scales. The track was created by @calcreated (IG) and structured prioritizing the old school flex tune trigger style. I layered my newer aesthetic in the old Essence. Round 3: “War in the Void - Epic B” This track was co created by @itsjustepicb (IG) and myself! It was my take on our cultures “gun tune format” mixed with our collaborative sound design of spatial futuristic elements. Again, thank you all! Sage was in his element. He was grooving and very comfortable/confident with execution. Again we executed as you can tell he conditioned his physic before executing the moves. Xorcist was the opposite. His last round had more flow, but over he looked uncomfortable.

In the end great battle from both of them but sages showmanship stole the show along with his already incredible movement and pacing🙇🏾♂️🔥🙇🏾♂️🔥🙇🏾♂️🔥🙇🏾♂️
Remember Standing in the line to get into battlefest in manhattan a couple years back and seeing Sage online dancing with a water bottle!!! Now He turned Super Saiyan with his style!!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

X 1 = I liked X's storytelling and hits more. The remove organs then trace to them was next level. but I respect Sage with those shakers! sage 2 = clear performance (leveled up his moveset beyond recognition).....is this the ssj4 version? Did he just do that?? sage 3 = slightly more energy and aggression. I think it's hard to keep performance energy up in both dance styles, both are similar though but sage just assimilated bruk up and flex into his own thing. X had an amazing way of captivating the mood of the song with some real technical movements. I'd like to see more aggression from him next time. That savage x that brings out the demon and toys with it on stage! Well done both:).
I think when it comes to battles like this you have to pick and pick a little details of whats going on instead of what is the most appealing to the eye. Sage's performance art is on point deff a good 10 for the glitter and his style is one within his own but i also felt like we didnt see a variety of movements from sage besides his different bounce transitions and the foot thing, (not taking away from it ) but it was alot of repeat movements which i think when it comes to a battle should be counted . Xcorisit just has always captured emotion better in his dancing, he was focused and showing us his imagination the whole time . actually bringing images from his head to real live action which is prob why i appreciated his movements a little more bc i felt like there was more going on than just movement, I felt like he didn't stick to his style his 2nd round . this is a flex based dance platform so its best to try your style the best to overshadow. Xcor - round 1 Sage - Round 2 Xcor - Round 3 .Only bc sage showed clear signs of being tired and he pauses and resets during his round
