Driving through older towns one might find them depressing but it misses the point that the beauty in all these towns is behind those walls.... as we keep finding when Noraly passes through the door into the living space. We're accustomed to lawns and trees surrounding homes. Clearly, that makes no sense in a desert like environment. The desert has its charms but the real beauty of Iran is in the mountains to the north. Thanks Noraly for taking us on this journey. The Iranian people are beautiful.
Every travel video I have watched, the western traveler to Iran without exception always comments on how welcoming the people are and how safe the country is.
My experience of meeting Iranian people abroad is that they are the friendliest people. Have wanted to visit Iran since learning this, the place looks fascinating.

Hi Noraly. Glad to see you're enjoying your trip there. As somebody mentioned before, after a brief pause the guard quietly asked "where is your husband" (which was meant more as a statement than question) Motorcycling culture for women in Iran is non-existant except in motorsport with a few well known riders. These sort of run-ins and pestering with like-minded people may continue, not that it would lead to any trouble but it would of course dampen the mood and enthusiasm for the trip. Stay safe and I'm sure you'll meet more open minded Iranians too.
This experience is so much like my own in Saudi Arabia. Beautiful country, and incredibly friendly people who have been starved of foreign visitors, and who welcome you with open arms. I think western mis-understanding and fear of these countries is what gives them such a bad rap. It is heartwarming to see how positively they respond to you.
After watching Eps 58, I just had to offer up some safety advise that will hopefully help you avoid cars passing you in your lane. There are two positions in a lane for a motorcycle to ride in, the first position is close to the center line and is called the dominant position. By taking this position you should be able to disuade car drivers from sharing your lane with you, and make them stay in their own lane. As a former motorcycle instructor, we taught this to novice riders to help them stay safe while travelling on a road with 2 lanes going in the same direction. Surprisingly a lot of experienced riders don't practice this because they don't know what they don't know. I am really enjoying your travel video's. Stay safe!
Hi David! Yes I know about these techniques and they work very well in the west. But in Iran that doesn’t work 😂 if you block them, they will either go and ride a few centimeters behind you (not a great feeling) or pass you even closer. Trust me, I tried everything 😜

Those Peugeot 405s from the 90's are still in production in Iran! That's why you see so many of them there. Their pretty good condition is because they're that young ;-)
Some people in Iran say that they drive on the middle of the road because it's in the best condition compared whit the whole road and will do less damage to tires
Interesting. I've been driving in many US cities. Usually people in the US say NYC is the worst. I thought NYC was a breeze. How much worse can Detroit be? All Americandriving is pretty relaxed. Paris is interesting, Milan is getting crazy, Bangkok is something else and I thought Moscow to be really bad, especially during the wintertime. People have Vodka in stead of anti-freeze fluid for their window-wipers. When I look at the scenes from Iran, people are simply not giving motor-riders sufficient space. That's very bad, knowing how vulnerable you can be on 2 wheels. Noraly did good, kudos to her.
@@ewoutbuhler5217 Using turn signals in Detroit is a sign of weakness. As soon as your signal is on, some driver near you realizes you see an opening and they rush to take it. Seattle is just as bad in the opposite direction. Drivers on the 405 will slow almost to a stop on the freeway if there is a car coming down the on ramp. Pittsburgh drivers are bad because they have to be. Whoever designed the roads in the city had to be on mushrooms.

اگر کامنت گذاشتن زیر نظر دیگران به من ربط نداره پس به شما هم نباید ربط داشته باشه پس چرا شما هم کامنت گذاشتی؟

Hi - up well past my bed time and you made me sign in AGAIN! - Well worth it. Great job with that great big smile. Stay up-right and well.
Fascinating insight into the real people of Iran. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode Noraly especially when all the locals wanted to take photographs of you and your bike, I suspect they’ve never seen a European woman before. Lovely Iranian people thank you for making this episode so enjoyable.
Good luck, from Brazil
Indian genes come from Iran and Indus valley..love Iran..love india...love RE...GOD BLESS U..ENJOY THE RIDE..LIVE YOUR LIFE THANKING GOD..FOR THE ROAD IN LIFE THAT HE HAS AND WILL GUIDE U..
Glad to see, that you are fine, Noraly! I have to tell you one secret, Noraly: Sometimes the streets in Austria also be dangerous, especially when it is Holliday in Holland and the Camper with their Trailers hit the road to the Alps!😱 Just kidding you, Noraly!😉 I havn't had any bad experiences yet!!👍
But it's a rule all over the world: The biggest Cars (Trucks) are the Kings of the Road and the smallest (Bikes) are the weakest!
Happy to hear from you.. have a pleasant and safe journey..
Keep it going noraly 😁🤟🏼
Hey Itchy, I'm impressed that you are taking your Royal Enfield around the planet. I own a Royal Enfield and am taking a great interest on how well it performs. I have only just picked up on your post so will have to go back and catch up with your adventures so far.
Keep up the great adventure and stay safe out there in such a big playground, ps don't let that scarf flap around, it could end in tears and I for one want to see more of your fun trip👍👍👍👍👋
How are you keeping your health so strong after so doing much of ride as well as in different climate conditions? Don't you fall sick like fever or upsetting stomach? How can be you so strong, that too solo mighty World Ride? A Standing Applause to you. Keep Riding.
Esfahan is my hometown's sister city and it's known for it's outstanding persian architecture. I'm really looking forward to watching your next video and I'm hoping to glimpse a bit of Esfahan's beauty.
Of all the people travelling the world on bikes, you are the one I'd most like to meet on a journey. Your positive attitude and the way you make it all look...effortless, I'd say - always having a smile on your lips - makes you a very special, wonderful and unique person. I wish you the best of luck and many, many thousands of happy miles more on your bike.
Best wishes from 🇳🇵 nepal...you should go to nepal also..enjoyed watching your travel vlogs😊
Thank you lady for this clip...this is beautiful video.....

I open a pack of crisps for each video. Thanks to you, stopped watching Netflix.
Hey! Go easy on those salty bites.
Welcome to Iran. I am happy when someone likes my country
I am from Turkey. I like watching you! I'm learning a lot about traveling from you. I hope to come to Turkey as soon as possible. Have a nice trip :)
Those Peugeot 405s from the 90's are still in production in Iran! That's why you see so many of them there. Their pretty good condition is because they're that young ;-)
Some people in Iran say that they drive on the middle of the road because it's in the best condition compared whit the whole road and will do less damage to tires
Glad people are likeable
Iranian drivers would feel right at home in Detroit...
Whoever designed the roads in the city had to be on mushrooms.
watching all these videos, you are giving me itchy boots to travel!
Damn.... all the way through the village I was like "These are not the droids you are looking for" :D
She used the Force on the police.

At 2:18 - random ancient ruin by the side of the road. :)
Now that you have explained the 'cooling towers', I'm seeing them on buildings.

They drive just like Indians! Glad you were here, must have left India with nerves of steel. Be safe. All the best.
Yes that's what I thought too 😁
@Bozorgmehr Bahmani Yah bro! Maybe Indians and Iranians have the same origin or something! 😉
@@adityaprakashdevdogra8657 👊👍
yep just like indian taxi drivers in australia lol
@@toby621 Yah, if you want to live, stay away from an Indian driver! He's not gonna give a damn anyway 😂
Now...i am big fan of ur driving skill
I tried making a riding video. You are a skilled rider and video maker :) well done
I can't get over how incredibly friendly everyone is. Especially to a stranger/foreigner! Geez - I don't even know the people I live next door to.
Noraly, now when I get on my Himalayan I imagine myself on a great adventure. :-)
