The best actors put true emotions into what they do. When he was flipping the table, you could tell he was thinking of a moment in his life in which all he wanted to do was (metaphorically) flip the fucking table. And you're right, it makes him a terrific actor.

When he starts throwing stuff and ripping stuff up that's me that's all the anger hurt and sadness inside me just wanting to get out.
