It’s great to hear from the people who actually worked with and knew Patsy. I wish she could have seen her children grow up and enjoyed the heights of her career. She really was a talent and is a legend.
I've loved her music since I was 10, and I love her music still. I wonder what would've happened with Patsy's career had Randy Hughes made a different decision that day... Maybe she and Charlie would've had their own record label; she could've seen her kids grow up and become "Grandma" to their kids; maybe she would've been able to collaborate with other country and southern rock artists like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Waylon Jennings, Kenny Rogers First Edition, or even the British rock band The Moody Blues. And maybe she could've helped Rob Pilatus and Fabrice Morvan of Milli Vanilli infamy and helped them through the scandal; and Frank Farian would've gotten a full dose of The Cline, and not in a good way. I guess we'll never know...
I have a several times Great Grandmother named Elizabeth Dick who married Donald Sym. They were from Perthshire Scotland. I often wonder if I could be related to Patsy Cline's husband Charley Dick and their children. By the time I knew my Grandmother Sym was changed to Sim. I am now 87 years old and I still wonder about it!
My wife is a die-hard country music fan and I will say some of it online I'm more of a southern gospel fan myself not that there's anything wrong with country music there's not a thing in the world wrong with country music especially classic country I sure do hate it the Patsy had to go like that but not only that I hated that cowboy copas and Hawkshaw Hawkins had to go as well these people did a lot of good music for This country and really they should all be recognized and Randy Hughes the pilot he probably thought he did the right thing at the time however rumor has it that he didn't have the proper instrument skills to do the flight in the conditions of the weather that night kind of sad but I'm just glad that we have this Legacy
It’s sad the way Dottie died and the way she lost everything. I know if she’d lived longer, she would have gained it all back. She was a fighter and like Patsy she had a lot of trauma in her childhood- the kind of stuff that makes or breaks people.
PATSY Cline stood in front of a microphone and her voice changed music forever
I haven't seen this since it first aired.
Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you for watching.

I think she would have had her own tv show
She still is a standard 60 plus years later. Most cannot touch her.

One of a kind, larger than life. And Dottie West, another one gone too soon.
I am that too
