It stole his pants he was wearing again. It took his pair of Salvager Pants, a special pair of pants identical to those worn by Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - they were added as free DLC alongside the rest of his suit, and was partially added because the devs of that game, Monolithsoft, contributed to the development of both Skyward Sword and BOTW, among other things. This armour is special - it cannot be upgraded by Great Fairies, but it also happens to have a base defence of 5, 2 higher than the 3 typically found on most unupgraded armour, and given the relatively low damage of weaker enemies in BOTW it is actually pretty decent if you pick it up really early. Since all the other pants he randomly got were unupgraded items with 3 defence, it was being worn for its good base stats, but it got stolen by the game.

Hey Pcrow, I have an idea. What if, when botw2 comes out, you make your first playthrough a language randomiser. So you randomise the language and then have to try and beat the game with no prior knowledge when all the text and dialogue is in like German or something. Just thought it’d be a cool idea.
If he's a gamer, he probably wants to experience the game with real immersion first. Stories usually don't hit as hard when you grasp them in hindsight.
10:05 Yeah, Lynels shooting through ceilings is pretty common actually. It happened to me when I started one of the Lynel fights in Hyrule Castle but then escaped out of a window and went into the... basement? And no matter where I went, the Lynel's arrows just kept coming through the ceiling. I think they legit just don't check for collision which I think is really damn stupid.
You should try a BotW challenge were nothing regenerates/respawns (including or excluding stamina and runes depending on how difficult you want the run to be). This means that if you pick up an item, you can't pick it up again (including if you drop it, it's gone forever, though if you find another of the same item, that's fine, as long as it's not the exact same one). Another example would be if you cut down a tree for resources, you can never cut that tree down again. This would not include enemies however, and if you fight an enemy and kill them once, you can't take their items if you kill them a second time. If a rock has a diamond under it, you only get that diamond once, and then that rock is useless. This also means that if you throw a rock into a river, it's gone forever, so Korok basketball is way more difficult. If you buy all the arrows from a shop, then those are the only arrows you'll ever get from that shop. This challenge also doesn't let you restore health, meaning no fairies, no Mipha's Grace, etc. As for the four champion abilities,you only get to use them as many times as you can before they recharge. Once your out, you disable them. Also, you'd have to do all quests because otherwise it's just an any% run, and we all know you can do that. I honestly don't know if this is even possible, and the entire idea might be stupid (I also don't know if you've already done this before), but I think it would be an interesting challenge, especially because you can't heal. It might also need a mod that prevents the items and other things from respawning. Basically, the idea is to put a resource limit on the world and the resources would slowly diminish as you play, preventing you from farming things off trees or from under rocks, etc.. And you would have to complete all the objectives without running out of those resources.
Not much would change, Pointcrow doesn't often farm the same place blood moon after blood moon. Not to mention few objectives would have you revisit the place enough to matter. It would (mostly) be functionally no different then if you didn't have this rule in the first place.

fun fact, there's semi-extensive coding in the vanilla game to make sure that absolutely no enemies spawn during dark beast ganon fight, except they spelled molduga wrong so those still exist
It doesn't make sense because horse combat is never a required thing, for someone who played the game without horses... suddenly having horse combat dodging enemies and... well it becomes an unfair fight. The fight would ironically be a lot worse for some people.
@@Buglin_Burger7878 To be fair, it's very possible to beat Dark Beast without ever touching the horse. At the very least, it could've been something added in Master Mode. Dark Beast makes sense for the storyline and using the Bow of Light, but it's not exactly a thrilling fight.

@@Buglin_Burger7878 To be fair, it's very possible to beat Dark Beast without ever touching the horse.
At the very least, it could've been something added in Master Mode. Dark Beast makes sense for the storyline and using the Bow of Light, but it's not exactly a thrilling fight.
