Great tutorial, I’ve been really struggling with attacking convoys and I think this will help. On a side note, that Swiss ship was a legitimate target due to it being part of a British convoy but I’m sure you know that by now
Just have a mission where im supposed to sink a single ship, and its guarded by something between 28 and 48 ships...im really clueless haha they dont even tell me what kind of ship it is
How do you have so much fuel? I'm usually at less than half fuel remaining by the time I even get to the target area. And that's going dead slow and speeding up time.
Don’t travel at flank or full speed, travel at gear 3. You can hover over the fuel level to see your fuel consumption at the different gears. Fuel consumption increases exponentially between the gears. Have a lower gear and instead increase the game speed to conserve fuel. Use higher gears when flanking or intercepting the enemy.
@germ8267 I travel at dead slow. Gear 1. The slowest possible speed. And it takes so much fuel to get to my patrol area that I have to use just the battery with recharges to get back. I have maybe enough fuel for one pursuit.
@@TenTonNuke Assign one mechanic with 2 helpers to decrease fuel consumption. And assign one leader as navigator with helpers to also decrease consumption.

Just did a patrol and sunk all 4 merchant ships in a convoy without any of the 3 destroyer escorts detecting me, your video helped alot thank you 🙏

@germ8267 I do all that. Is it an upgrade thing or a uboat thing? I'm only just starting with the first sub.
