There is nothing like 24 hour economy in Europe.I have been staying in Europe here for 12 good years in different countries but nothing like that so they explain it well and leave Europe alone.This is azar policy so my brother's and sisters should open their eyes when voting on 7 th December 2024.

Even in advanced world, not all the sectors run 24 hours. Even in sectors where there is 24 hour shift work, not all areas of the sector works 24 hours.
Even for health sector, accountants, operation managers, food vendors or kitchen staff, hR personnel, managers do not have 24 hour shift.
For police, the administrative staff do not work 24 hour.
For restaurants, only small sections in big cities run 24 hour shift.
Pharmacy shops do not run 24 hours.
Within places with 24 hours, the number of persons employed for each shift reduces as work into the night.

Even here in Canada, only some few places have 24 hr economy. Where I work we used to have 3 shifts, but it has been reduced to two. This is purely a demand factor. So no one can legislate 24 hour Economy, period!

24-hour economy simply means Ghana will not sleep. Companies and industries will be empowered to run a shift system that will run 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Companies and industries will operate 24 hours without shutting down.This will increase employment, and productivity. A good example is the Ghana airport company that runs 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Another good example is the transportation sector that also runs 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Meaning 24 hr economy is already there. Why should it then become your policy?

It is erroneous to intimate that the Government will create a 24 hr economy . It is actually the other way round .
A Government cannot create an artificial 24 hr economy .When the stakeholders in the Industries are of the view that demand for their products and services have resulted in having to work 24 hours , then the Government creates the enabling atmosphere for it ie. 24 hr access to transportation system, electricity, security etc.
Was this policy birthed out of any stakeholders consultation? You don’t just role out policies without seeking its essence from the very people it is going to affect.
