    Love you guys! Your recipes were fundamental in my transition from flexitarian to vegetarian to now vegan for 6 years!

    Or if you don't make hundreds of liters a week, do exactly the same but in a blender and squeeze it through a straining bag and save yourself £390.

      Or make hemp milk in your blender and you don’t even need a straining bag. Chuck in a handful of cashews for extra creaminess and a few dates for sweetness.

      It is an investment for sure, but with the discount and the price of milk these days it works out saving money.

      I just checked. The M1 will cost me €470 in Germany (only available in 2025). Even if I took 10% off (a discount I‘m not sure I can get over here) it’s still beyond €400.
      I found a very good alternative milk for €1,79 per litre at my organic supermarket and use about 1,5l a week.
      At that rate it would take me about
      three years to start saving on this machine (which does look very appealing nevertheless!). I‘m sorry, but I think, I‘ll pass.

      @@thehappypear That's pretty disingenuous considering you can achieve the same results with a cheese cloth or anything similar... you can't compare having this to buying milk in terms of savings when there are cheaper ways to make your own, yes you will likely save a bit of time and effort with this compared to the cheese cloth method but it's definitely not either this or buy milk!!
      I get that they've paid you to make an ad but it's super disappointing to see you pushing this with lies and hyperbole.

    Can the homemade oatmilk work well in coffee/tea? One reason I still buy the barista blends in cartons is that I worry it will seperate or taste watery in coffee if I make it myself

    The downside is that ‘everyday vegans’ need commercial plant milks for the added supplements especially B12.

    • @airixxxx
      @airixxxx 7 дней назад +4

      You can get B12 at the pharmacy.

    • @RonsonDalby

      @@airixxxx That's not the point. You and I might be aware of vitamins and nutrients supplements but the average plant-based milk user may not.

      I think the everyday vegans are probably well aware of supplements especially B12 and do not need commercial plant milks at all.

    • @airixxxx
      @airixxxx 6 дней назад +5

      @@RonsonDalby No idea what an "average plant-based milk user" is but every person (vegan or not) should do periodic check-ins and act accordingly. Besides that the supplements those processed milks have are undermined by all the other crap put in them.
