Car Salesman don’t pay a fee for the honor of being able to sell cars. Neither do accountants or real estate agents. If someone is asking you to pay a fee to join their sales team and encouraging you to recruit others to pay the same fee that’s an MLM and a scam. I’ve seen these businesses all my life. Regulators can’t keep up with them and the FTC hasn’t meaningfully pursued most offenders. There’s a lot of money to be made picking people’s pockets by selling them the dream of becoming rich. It’s a grift plain and simple. There are plenty of insurance brokers that don’t pay a fee and have to recruit an entire football team worth of people to maybe get to hang around and make some money. If you’re working for a business like that, you’re the profit model. A real sales business will hire people on at a low base salary or hourly comp until someone proves they can carry their weight. They will not ask employees to pay to play.
The life insurance industry has 2 philosophies of selling insurance. One is buying leads and the other is recruiting. You can buy the leads and that can be a very challenging model ass well. The sales organizations you're talking about that hire employees on a low base salary + commissions only pay a super small percentage of the commission (like 2-3%) plus they are capped. Once they hit the ceiling, they won't get paid for all the other sales they've closed. The choice is simple. You either work where you get all the upside but have no leverage in the beginning and eventually build leverage. Or you have a little leverage with a salary and low percentage of commissions but you stay stuck in that rat race for 30 years. The beautiful part is that people can decide which route they want to take. No one is forced.
Everyones hears out the Realtor but gives the life insurance agent crap.😅 You just said realtors dont pay a fee for getting started? To get started in real estate and get your license its about $2000 average depending on what state your in. Vs getting in started in insurance its only about $400 for any business or self contracted work you have to obtain proper licenses or franchising fees . THATs how we know you dont know what your talking about...

They jump and run around like they’re praying for rain and do not tell you that you will rely on friends and family buying from you, or that you should have a strong sales network and the skills to sell to have any success.
You can sell to whom ever you like.. family and friends or to strangers? Or sell to a completely new market. I've never known of a business that has policy to not sell to their family. If you were to open up a restaurant, are you going to tell your family to not come and eat there??
@@thefinancialg yes it would. I sign a contract with an MLM and I have to pay that fee no matter what. Also, the car dealership at least paid me my minimum wage for the time I was on the floor.

How fast would they fire you for non sales? Whats your commission on a sale, what's your ceiling cap on commission? How many hours do you have to physically be there? PHP doesnt have you sign a contract, your can take your license anytime you want, that 200 is a one time fee giving you access to software, trainings, and tracking your businesses and it never expires. Php has no ceiling on promotions, no required hours at a physical location, you can do it remote, you can be a personal producer or builder, and if you learn the system and compensation a regular salary job cant even come close
