May the GRRR be with you!
REMEMBER TO LIKE & COMMENT ON THIS VIDEO!! Let me know what your favorite 7 Eleven is!🔥❤
Wow, i'm FIRST, finally! This video is shorter than your usual but i'm glad you're still sharing videos. I love that you show differences and simliarites of things. We're all connected- same same but different. he he
You have 10 hearts +Miss Takes!
Thanks for appreciating the work I do. And agreed- same same but different. ;)
Yum! I love 7/11 in different countries! I live in the states so I’m not too familiar with conversions but isn’t 40 degrees Celsius super hot? Lol
I'm here for you Christine!!! Still watching and it doesn't matter what city you visit because I love watching your videos. I'm unconditional like that.
Wait... I have 6 HEARTS on my name... THAT'S THE AMOUNT OF TIMES YOU HEARTED ME!!!!!! THANK YOU
I love unconditional fans like you +AlyssaB. You rock!
@@grrrltraveler you too Christine!
7 elevens in Japan are the best
They are pretty cool!
As always you have this talented flair of showing the hidden gems where everyone else's camera turns off.
Thanks- I need to keep ppl y'all watching!
I LOVE these types of videos! It’s what I usually do when I go to different countries. I go to markets and examine EVERYTHING.
We must be travel twinsies! 🤩
Love your 7-eleven vids, my favorites are still the ones in Tokyo but I really admire them for tailoring to the country they are in.
"it pretty cold outside maybe 40 degrees celsius" LOL, great video btw
We have the white chocolate kitkats in the states. We've had them for years actually lol. And the green tea ones are more available (if in a big city or a place with a large enough Asian pop to get an Asian market). I've just yet to see them "individual" sized; they're normally in the big pack.
+Kay K wooow What states are those?
Although US States vary too based on demographics
Hawaii has green tea but I think a different packaging and only sold in Japan import stores. No white chocolate.
Love your videos! 👍. At the 4:45 minute mark you mention that you're eating the ramens because it's chilly out. Around 40 degrees Celcius out. You most likely wanted to say 40 degrees Fahrenheit. The difference being that at Fahrenheit you'd be on the cold side(just like you said) and the Celsius would be more Las Vegas temperature
BTW. Not only does Vancouver have labels printed in both English and French but all of Canada. Both languages are the official languages of the country. And you will also see Asian print on most asian products all across the country. Awaiting videos of your travels outside of the Pacific rim. Keep up the good work.
I'm driving over to Vancouver this weekend.

Vancouver Canada to be specific
I love these videos you've done like this in various countries. Whenever I've traveled around Asia, I always made it a point to try and stay away from anything I thought of as "western". Now I really want to experience an Asian 7-11 for myself. You've shown me that they are not western at all, but actually reflect the local cultures.
+karmatso omg def check these out. Some can be subtle differences. Much like McDs. Always a bit of local variety.
Marketing techniques and product placement have to appeal to local consumers and their sensibilities & lifestyles. Americans are diff from Thai and Vancouver...😉
Wow! That would be the subjects for my private museum and thus the theme for more videos for my youtube channel.
Cool! Welcome to Vancouver!
Thnx Manny!
Glad to see you got to enjoy one of our liquid sunshine days!😂 It's neat to see the different 7-11s ...they're all a little different.
They really all are! if I were a steadfast meat eater I'd be coveeing MacDonalds too.
But are there usually more hot foods? I feel like I had difficulty finding premade food range.
@@grrrltraveler McDonald's! Yeah...I totally got a kick out of seeing the difference between a McDs in Waikiki and here. Totally should have taken a pic of the menu. Lol. Hot stuff...not really a lot at most of our 7-11s. Usually just quick snack stuff..potato wedges, wings, pizza, meatballs...stuff like that, but again they're all different.
Over half of Vancouver’s metro population is Asian , Chinese, Filipino, Korean, Vietnam, India, Chinese is the largest of the Asian population, this makes Vancouver the largest Asian population per capita in North America, this makes for great food no need for 7-11,
Nice video the ramen looked soo good and the peanut butter with the Oreo on top mmmm
I love Vancouver
The vegan snacks reminded me that I need to go back to try Vancouver's vegan pudding shop! And yes to all the kit kats!
Wuuuh vegan pudding shops??? Where?
Omigod I wish I did a kit Kat review.
@@grrrltraveler Yeah! In downtown Vancouver! I think it's called Vegan Pudding & Co? (I never went to the store, but the last time I was up north I found the pudding in the impulse section of a Vancouver Whole Foods.)
That 7-11 is ridiculously loaded with something for everyone.
+Pete Kachew yes! You can't go wrong in a 7-11
Don't forget that airport stores are usually more expensive than other branches. Also, you're right about the large Asian population: Lee is the most common surname in the lower mainland. You should explore Richmond if you get the chance; roughly half the residents are originally from Hong Kong.
Interesting! Hong Kong- it's definitely more chill Chinese.
I was definitely surprised with the Asian demographic-- it felt like every 5th or 10th person I passed was Asian #imnotspecial 😂
It is interesting how 7-Eleven caters to customers in different countries. That cup of Ramen looked very tasty. I miss the door ring when entering a 7-11 in Thailand.
+Fred Hixon Much like McDs. Always a bit of local variety. Marketing techniques have to appeal to local consumers and their lifestyles.
That doorbell is a very defining character.
That chocolate section was huge! It was like a supermarket.
We have Aero chocolate in Australia too. I do love the choc mint flavour.
I totally want to try that Sour Patch Watermelon Slurpee!
+Lin Nyunt It was like the hard candy section of a Don Quijote! Vancourites love chocolate.
The 7 Eleven Riddle
2 + 9 = 11,
2 x 9 = 18,
18 - 11 = 7;
what does that mean?
I saw this place in Vancouver Canada,It was really cool
Just a random FYI Vancouver's demographic 2011 census has Euro Canadian at 46.2% and Chinese 27.7% with 3rd place at much lower percentile south asian 6% so on so forth. Vancouver is quite the melting pot city, beautiful city and rich in culture. Pretty neat what you can find in a 7/11, with a bowl of noodles with two sometimes three different languages on it.
May the GRR always be with you. Maybe some time in the future can share some first nation cultural foods with you, from wild game meats, seafood, to a much newer addition to our cultural foods- fried bread. cheers, chexw mehalh- mahalo, aloha
Id love to try First Nations food. 💕I had a First Nations restaurant on my itinerary but unfortunately I couldn't make it there. 🙁
I kinda like that they have that cooked ramen- look so much healthier.. much better than the dry instant noodles.
Yaasssss. This was the first to sell cooked ramen. Those green onions were CHUNKY & Fresh!!! #yum
GREAT VIDEO. LOVED IT.
XOXO +Brock!
My favourite 711 is in Regina Saskatchewan
Good varieties of stuff at 7 Eleven and I love KitKat crunchy and the original KitKat.
+Nigel De Conceicao Yeah, we don't even have crunchy KitKats in the US. Does India?
@@grrrltraveler we do have, it's Rs 70 and it's imported from the Gulf. We have other different chocolates made by a company called Amul.
I love your vedio 😍❤
Japan and Hawaii have the best 7 elevens; I notice you said 43c that’s actually hot lol
This is where I worked Vancouver downtown
7/11.vancouver good video👍💯💖😍
Welcome to Raincouver! If u are still around there's a food market a couple of skytrain stations away you should check out too
What was the name of that food market? In Richmond?
@@grrrltraveler yep u guessed - Richmond Night Market. Goes every weekend from May to October
Welcome to Great White North. Great video.
Haha ⚡️
well I sure hope the sun comes out for you Christine while your there but Vancouver isn't Hawaii
Sun didn't quite come out but it was still enjoyable +Mike! Thanks xo
Do they have ketchup chips in Vancouver airport?
Dunno
When you coming to Australia 🇦🇺
+PRO HORSE PUNTER 🤔 on my bucket list!!
Welcome to Vancouver! When do you plan to return to Asia? and always good to see your videos.
Thanks Man Rat!. Have you watched my recent Asia videos?
@@grrrltraveler have been your subscribe for over 2 years and never miss a video 😊 all thanks to the notification option on RUclips. Love the content, I even use your travel tips saying of "accept it and move on" in many real life situations, traffic in the mornings will be bad, accept it and move on. Good saying to let go of things that one can't control. Reduces stress and allows me to focus my energy on positive and better things with less stress.
You should visit western Canada while your here
Beautiful Video😍❤Saif From Oman 🌷
+Saif Al zadjali Thanks for watching!
@ 4:47 you say 40 Degrees Celsius.. That's extremely hot for Vancouver weather. LOL
Very hot, like tropical heat :)
+Chris Simpson oh no-- I didn't slur out a negative in there? That C/F conversion thing! 😂
They like their candy! 😳😊
+Kim Larson I'd say!!! The biggest candy sections I've seen.
I like the food choices they have in the Asian 7 elevens better.
The culture is so different so the foods will be VERY different. Still thought Canada had enough difference to note though ;)
40 degrees Celsius BRRR that is HOT. Haha We all know you meant to say 40 degrees farenheit.
+PaulTakeoTravels .... bwahaha!!! I had to check my weather converter.
😬 Oops! 🤷♀️
👏👏👍👍

Yall always talk about Canadian foods and places like youre surprised? Bruh why? Its just a more cultured place then the states like???
Same same but different and it's dem differences which make you ask-- wtf did kit Kat give Vancouver Tiramisu and not us?!
@@grrrltraveler fair fair, I tried that exact kitkat- god was it sweet. Hurt my teeth. Love youre content btw ❤✌
@@grrrltraveler kitkat in US is licensed to Hershey, and in the rest of the world, its Nestlé.
