I can attest even in August 2022 the Gungnir remains a force to be reckoned with. Just got mine and can't stop listening to it. Love this video, should be required watching for owning one of these machines. Many thanks to guys.
I noticed my gungnir has a synthetic cloth under the top vents (a cool addition that somehow no one has ever used- to keep dust out but still allow heat out) that was not shown in this vid. I guess first builds didn't include this? My has been upgraded though.
@SchiitFerBrains could it be that @MC IN got a newer gen of the gungnir? And btw what ist the newest generation you guys offer in 2020? Planning to buy some stuff in the end of February. Thx in advance 👍
In the video when you put the multiibit card in you said that the they went to single large card when they went multibit and when you burn it in you said the blinking means shows its a multibit as well. My Gungnir has the split 2 card configuration but it still blinks when its turned on. @SchiitFerBrainz does that mean that the split card configuration is still multibit, just a previous generation?
Well, my music preference is pretty eclectic but for the purpose of a TECH channel, It would probably be stuff like Massive Attack, Trentmoller or anything from the "Hungry Music" guys.

7:59 - Or are you ensuring it sounds like Schiit?

Lol, kinda surprised windex. Would have guessed a spray alcohol was used, but not like your cleaning PETG or acrylic or anything like that anyways.
Nice Schiit!!
Just curious, what "cool music" would you play?

I wish a Gungnir will eventually come out with a dual 4497 or 4499 !
I still want to see a Freya build to see how you line up all of the LEDs!
Freya and Saga are both in the List of videos I plan on doing so stay tuned.
Is revoltaging from 110v to 230v simple as changing jumpers on other schiit units like Lyr2
It is but we can't recommend that it be done by the user.
Understood. Thanks for the answer. Good to know there is no soldering required
@@maheeinfy13 Could you please give me some pointers how to do this? Is there an instruction somewhere? Happy to risk it.
Great instructional video but why add any music?
There was something nutty about going to steal that 'screw'.
...a BBG indicator? Heh heh heh. Nice.
BTW... fellow Sch&&theads, check out the end segment (re: ModiMB programming). 💀
Can we see a Jotunheim build?
JOTUNHEIM build coming soon... I'm Workin on it.
"...otherwise, I'd be playin' you guys some cool schiit."

Anyone else watch all of these, to learn how to pronounce the names correctly? :D
And, shouldn't his button read: Bullschiit?
