- We caught up with Pepper Keenan at DesertFest before he played a sold out show at the Electric Ballroom with 'Corrosion of Conformity'.
Pepper discusses the first time he played an Orange Amplifier and how the Thunderverb 50 Head and 4X12 PPC Cabinet make his sound.

I first heard CoC 30+ years ago. Being from Charlotte and these guys coming outta Raleigh it was impossible not to hear about this band. Deliverance & Blind are still a "daily driver's" for me 25 years later!
Pepp is one of the best songwriters and riff masters ever. His voice only drives it home. This man is top level w the big 4. Which shoulda been 6 too include Testament!

It’s kind of hilarious that Crowbar and COC both are crazy underrated, but everyone knows Down. Both of their own bands they front are better.

Kind of interesting that none of the guitar tones in this video are from Orange amps.
Most of their Cross and Crown album from 2018 sounds like it was recorded with Orange amps to me. But none of the older stuff did. You're right.

Love my th100!!! That shape knob is all I need! I also got a rovkerverb mk3 100 and I love the stock reverb but the dirty channel doesn't hit like the thunderverb.

Yeah those amps rip, the orange he is rockin' now is great too but not quite the same as the Mesa.

I did some research and he never had a sig but he used Custom Shop Vipers. They were a thinner body like an SG so they couldnt actually sell them commercially without getting sued.
I heard the same thing. I want a custom shop. Pepper is my hero man. Saw them play THE PARADISE ROCK CLUB in Boston. Sounded like the albums. Wow.
