So proud of the lads! We smashed them, we played some amazing football!
Just something I've been thinking about recently is that having so many injuries this season may be a blessing in disguise. It's made Howe HAVE to use the whole squad and get them all up to the high standard which may of not happened if our first 11-16 were fit all season. We possibly have saved a few quid too because Miley coming through and Tino/Hall/Anderson playing so well. Another plus is Wilson playing well which bumps his price up 😅.

Really good performance from the lads. The win puts pressure on MU to get a result at Palace who have already beat them in the league. A win against Brighton is now a must On Saturday to keep pressure on MU as they play Arsenal the day after us. We keeping winning as Chelsea are on a run as well.

4-4-2 has been called prehistoric recently but it can be one of the most flexible and difficult to defend against especially with 2 wingers who can track back and 2 full backs who can run all day.

It was an absolutely fantastic game, a rocky start 10/15 mins in with the new tactics/formation which Howe admitted he had tweaked, with both Isak and Wilson up top which both had great games, and the defense was also with Hall and Livramento settling in well. It felt like NUFC of last season with the intensity and that's saying something, fighting towards a European place. Again fantastic football today. We all thought it was going to be a difficult game as Burnley needed that win for sure.

I’m still fuming over Fergusson ‘s mind games over KK, and beating them into Europe would be set. Take care.

Thanks Paul and the rest of the lads and lasses at ‘Toon Review’ for all your hard work today and for the whole season. Great result today. You’re right. Everything boils down to our game at Old Twatford on 15th May. Confidence is precious at this point of the season and I feel our team is bang full of it. Hoping and praying manure keep on being manure and spuds fall apart in their remaining games. 5th place is still available and if we finish 5th after all the injuries we’ve suffered this season, we’ll be in a hell of a sweet spot to kick on from at the beginning of next season.

I though Longstaff was great 1st half, avg 2nd half. Change of conditions certainly contributed to it but still. Michael Bridges summed it up very well. He couldnt understand how its a yellow for a finger tip in the face, but not for the player who stepped on Halls ankle. Great result.

Again. Not trying to be confrontational. But...idk if u can really say Dubz put in a shift. Im actually kinda sorta hoping that Ritchie gave away the corner on purpose. So Burnley would have a chance to score(on Eddies orders of course) and now he can replace him with Pope. Since benching a gk after a clean sheet is one of those unwritten rules or taboos. Pope prives himself next week. Man U vs Nick Pope. Here we go

Burnley should have scored that 3 goals at the beginning, but again they failed to find the balance and failed to deal with individual errors like the other 2 promoted teams. They just don’t deserve to be in the premier league this season and need to learn and regroup at the season this season is over, or they will be in big trouble next season in the championship.
For us, we found the grip, caught them and gained the control back. 3 more points in the bag and 3 games to go. Let’s do it and get the job done!!!

The commentators in the US today (they are British all u Anti Americans) actually said he was undervalued and under appreciated by the fans. Bc he does a lot of the dirty work.
I say this as a compile nt. SOFASCORE says he has no outstanding attributes but also glaring weaknesses. He's a solid soccer player(ok u got me. I was trolling u guys a bit with that..0-0 win at the WC don't 4get). Like he is ur typical Prem footballer. He may not be a 9 or 10 every week. But neither is he. 3 or 4. And coaches love consistency. And they watch a heck of a lot more match film than we do. It was so nice to hear "one of our own"

@@brunoactis1104 so you saying a freshly promoted Leeds is the same level of Rotherham, freshly promoted Leicester are the same level has plymouth ? Freshly promoted southampton are the same level has Huddersfield, and the same goes for every team from the previous years, it's not at all because their the same level, it's because the style of football is extremely physical, aswell has the league been very unpredictable, Southampton where favourites to win it, Plymouth where favourites to finish bottom both those where wrong. Did you think Ipswich would finish second before the first ball was kicked ? I remember one season we scraped 1st place in the championship if i remember rightly we won it by a point. The championship is very hard for any team to get back out of it proven by many of teams who have seen a lot of premier league football who have been stuck there for a while one example Boro they took 8yrs to get promoted back after going down with us in 2009 Boro have now been stuck there again for 7yrs since last promotion to the prem. It really isnt because their all the same level.

@@TheToonReview If you’re facing a team that loses more than they win it generally means they are not very good so it does matter don’t let scoring 4 goals over these pull the wool over you’re eyes.

I’m Delighted for Eddie he had a challenging Season with loads of injuries. But he has never moaned he’s building a team for the future we need a few quality signing depending on finances .
As Trippee said Eddie is on the way to being world class Manager we need to keep him because England will come a Calling.🌑⚽️🖤🤍
