BLACK COFFEE is about Robert (Darrin Dewitt Henson - Stomp the Yard, TV’s Soul Food), a painter who just got fired from his own father’s company and dumped by his gold-digging girlfriend (Erica Hubbard - TV’s Lincoln Heights). But then Morgan (Gabrielle Dennis - BET’s The Game), a lawyer with her own firm, enters into his life. Just as things start to heat up between Robert and Morgan, trouble brews as Morgan’s ex-husband Hillman (Lamman Rucker - Why Did I Get Married?), vows to get her back. With the help of his cousin (Christian Keyes - Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail), Robert’s about to find out how much good can come out of a bad situation in this charming romantic comedy about finding common grounds.
