JLewis is taking all these trips to help recruit for SC…how else do you think we got so many Georgia visits? He’s pitching the Trojans and we just need to hit it out of the park with our staff. academia and So Cal lifestyle 😎✌🏽
Rowe must not know much about Vaikona. He is a 4th generation at usc, he’s not going anywhere. He already plays tackle, yes I know it’s just highschool. Have you seen him move? He’s a former basketball player with good feet. Does not look close to 360 so he must wear it well. More than likely he’s 330-340 without touching a college weight room. Taller in height= more room to carry weight. Orlando brown-6’8 365, Evan Neal- 6’7 360, Jordan Mailata- 6’8 365, Trent brown- 6’8 380!!! And can’t forget 2022 pick Daniel Faalele at 6’9 380. Where did you hear dudes that are 6’8 360 aren’t in the league?
USC is also not recruiting local talent. When you watch Cole Cogshell play, it's easy to see what it is that has BYU's coaches so excited. The combination of strength and pass rushing moves is tantalizing. He's a little raw, but every single tool is there. Cogshell has raw NFL potential. If he continues to develop the way he has this past year, he is going to make an impact on the BYU defense significantly earlier than most people are expecting him to. Cogshell is a high level player who is just bursting onto the scene.
You guys need to know a bit about these kids… Vaikona is an OT. He’s a 4th generation Trojan, former basketball player. Check out some of his film… kid has good feet. He’s 6’8 and loses 30-40 lbs of fat and he’s fine. He’s only been playing football since freshman year, how can you say definitely that he’s only a right tackle? Nonetheless, might see him and page on the field together… Elijah bookends
@Sportsgeek1991 have you watched his highlights or any film on him? I'm simply saying he could surprise a lot of people. I'm not predicting him to be an all-american and a 1st round pick... am I?
@@DontbeahaterbeaHatton every division 1 prospect looks dominant in high school lol I'm saying let's let the kid develop for a few years and see what we got.
Great show, guys…thank you! Coach, I believe Vaikona has only been playing football for a couple of years and that he was a basketballer before. If so, his footwork mist be WAY better than the typical 6-8/380 OL. If his footwork is good, could he possibly be a bigger version of Jonah?
Riley MUST GO to SEC and Big 10 country because that's where the big trench players roam. So. Cal. Are not known for trench players so if you want to compete in the Big 10, you have to go outward
I don't know about fans wanting Lincoln Riley out????? I think fans wants to see a defense that will show up. Riley is on the hook for keeping Grinch longer than he should have because he chose friendship over the business.
I disagree with Coach. USC in the Big 10 changes recruiting. A kid from from Ohio is a perfect fit at USC because he can get a taste of the beaches and weather while going back to Big 10 country where family can travel
Nope. No elite is gonna leave playing in front of 110000 in Ann Arbor vs a sad showing at the coliseum in LA with its tarp. Its all about NFL exposure. Remember UCLA, despite the palm trees, was outrecruited by almost every team with a heartbeat
NIL is capitalism. Not hard to understand. We see it in the real world with the halves and halves nots. Coach Rowe, get on board or be left behind…..Fight On!
Sorry but LR needs to forget about these SEC kids. USC. isn't going to match their NIL $$$, LR doesn't have any street cred when it comes to physcial play and developing NFL talent other than qbs and wrs, and he needs to deal with Oregon stealing talent out of his backyard like it's f'in lunch money. Wrong priorities, wrong approach, wrong expectations.
What are you talking about. USC has as much miney with all the top 4 SEc School combine. What they need is to step up their game. The BIG 10 share is over a hundred million and then when you combine that with the REGIONAL TV rights its not even close.
@@islandrepublic9166 You don't understand USC. Nikias and Haden are still on the BOT. USC may have the money but they won't spend it on athletics and far less on NIL.

@brianjacob8728 of a truth...for the last 15 or so years football has not been a priority....suspect that the only hired riley to show commitment for approval to the big 10....riley might last a couple more years....
Carde’s mom grew up with Kam Fountain’s mom. She’s the one lobbying hard for this kid

@Sportsgeek1991 that's fair and I agree. I just didn't agree with coach and Jamal downplaying his commitment.
Why were people saying Pettyjohn was a lock to USC? This recruiting cycle has been a disaster. USC NIL needs to be fixed.
Coach, you're right about the weight, and I think I saw that would be a goal. But looking at the film, he moves pretty well and has good feet.
I’m with you Coach on NIL. It’s crazy and needs some guardrails
Rowe not doing his homework again.
Aren’t we running a 3-3-5 on defense this year ? So 3 linebackers

It is completely unacceptable that USC is going to lose Pettyjohn. He is crystal balled to Ohio State. This is really terrible news.

Yo Jamal. His name is pronounced Zack-kah-Ryah. I know this is a little bit of a language/cultural barrier, but you should know by now.
How come Hill didn't go to Ohio St. , USC will lose 4 LBs after next year so the room is not that deep.
They need to get rid of House of Victory.
Get rid of newsom and we will get more recruits
