And he was thisclose to coming back this year. Channel Surfing with Craig Ferguson was supposed to start in syndication last January and it fell apart. Late night is poorer because of it.
Rebecca Ferguson is just amazing-she’s got this incredible range and depth that makes every role she plays unforgettable. I first noticed her in Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation as Ilsa Faust, where she stole every scene with strength and intensity. Then, seeing her as Lady Jessica in Dune, she brought this grace and fierceness that fit the character perfectly. And don’t even get me started on her in Doctor Sleep-she was haunting as Rose the Hat! What I love most about Rebecca is how grounded and mysterious she seems, both on-screen and off. She brings so much emotion to every character, and she throws herself into the role completely. Plus, the fact that she does her own stunts makes her performances feel so real. She’s quickly becoming one of my favourite actresses, and I can’t wait to see what she’ll do next!
On her interview with Colbert 8 months ago, she talked about being annoyed by interviewers constantly bringing up how "amazing it must be to work with Tom" and other male actors. C'mon Jimmy.
Rebecca Ferguson was born Rebecca Louisa Ferguson Sundström in Stockholm Sweden on October 19. 1983 and grew up in the Vasastan district in central Stockholm. She was raised bilingual, speaking Swedish and English. Her mother, Rosemary Ferguson, is English, and moved from Britain to Sweden at the age of 25. Her father, Olov Sundström, is a Swedish businessman. Rebecca took her mother's surname as her stage name. Her maternal grandmother is Northern Irish, and her maternal grandfather is Scottish.
Jimmy decides to waste the interview with Rebecca by waffling on about Dwayne Johnson and a pillow and then gushing about Tom Cruise for most of the time...WTF?
I genuinely think it might be because Jimmy can’t keep up with her. She’s too quick witted and unpredictable for him to follow or control if it’s a subject he’s not really really comfortable talking about (aka The Rock or Tom Cruise). The project she’s there to talk about he clearly isn’t particularly knowledgable about and she’s very obviously not sticking to where the conversation was supposed to go as it’s normal for these types of interviews to be all preplanned. If you’ve watched a number of her interviews on talk shows like these, it always seems like she has binned off the expected responses and completely changed what she was going to say. That’s when you need a host who can keep up. Her last interview with Colbert months was a great example of his improv days being useful to him! But Fallon just doesn’t have the same skillset!
@@FabianFleitas1989 She was on Seth Meyers not long after this (like a day or so after) and regardless of whether you like him or not, the interview is so much better and more fun to watch purely because Seth keeps up with her easily. He actually feels like he’s encouraging her unpredictability at some points too which makes it even funnier.
That's what he does. He takes over the interview to basically talk about himself. It's super annoying, especially when he repeats the same story over and over again. Rebecca needs someone who can work with her energy. Some people promote a show by sticking to the talking points, some people promote a show through their personality which makes people want to watch the show. She's the latter. She usually plays super serious characters, but her personality seems to be the opposite. Somebody like Jimmy takes over the interview and then makes it about Tom Cruise and Dwayne Johnson. So she had to basically take charge and try to lead it elsewhere.
Such an bad host fallon is, he had the chance to talk about her role in Peaky Blinders but instead of that he just wasted all time on his fake nonsense laugh
This may be the first time I have seen an interview with Rebecca Ferguson, aside fro the very short sound bite type interviews that are online or on one of those celeb news type shows. I remember watching that movie Girl on the Train around the same time I was re-watching one of the many mission impossible movies and thinking " the woman can do any kind of character!" Always thought she was so gorgeous; just stunning. This interview has made me into a legit fan of Rebecca Ferguson cause as talented and gorgeous as she is, she seems so goofy and silly and just normal in her awkward-ness. keep working on that blink! lol
I loved Season 1 of "Silo" sooo much that I'm so excited for Season 2 to premiere, after waiting 16.5 months, b/c Silo, along with "Severance", is one of my most highly anticipated tv series. The casts performed amazingly in their well-chosen characters, esp Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, David Oyelowo & Rashida Jones, all of whom cannot be forgotten for their integral involvement & brilliant performances to the story & character development. Although Rebecca Ferguson's American accent needs some polishing, in my opinion, she was still wholeheartedly the 'MVP' of SILO & in everything else, such as her acting & Executive Producer role.👏👍👍👏
I love her- acting, personality, sense of humor, and projects she chooses. So happy Silo is back. That and a couple of other series will get me through the beginning of winter. But I'd say neither Silo nor Dune are that sci-fi based. There's elements of the genre in there, but there's also some element of fantasy. But largely they're straight drama, w/ Dune having the action elements as well.
I just adore her. Her character in MI was complex and very, very sexy. But in reality she is even better, sense of humour, distance to herself and passion for what she is doing professionally is just amazing. What a woman!
I really wish that she’d surivive and returns in Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning part 2. I also think that this film should get a 3hrs run-time and probably get a $1B box office if it do well
I noticed the same a couple of months ago. Haven't thought about it earlier, but in one interview I saw, it suddenly dawned on me. Fun fact: A friend of mine made a short film ages ago and needed a kid to act. She knew Rebeccas mother and had Rebecca do the part. That was before any of her official entries on IMDB, probably around 1992-95 or so.
Sorry, Jimmy. You're tone deaf. I was waiting for her to say, if you wanted to interview Tom Cruise, you should have brought him on here. The sarcasm with every double thumbs up was thick.
Watching the new Mission Impossible Final Reckoning trailer today reminded me how much I miss Rebecca Ferguson in that franchise 😭😭😭
She was in the last one 😒
I wish he didn't died and get back to job.
@@madgemackles4337 Yes, but you know what happened to her character lol. She won't be in the finale unfortunately
Me too. 😢
I agree
I hope Rebecca could win an Emmy for her work in Silo. Whether for her acting or for her producing, she is marvelous in that series
@@800Ms-k6n we can hope but it's so rigged 😑
Season 2 starts soon .
Silo isnt getting neeeaarr the amount of love it deserves. I think it's apple TV. Apple TV is pretty boring, and then we finally got Silo (Wool) !!!!
@@Outsideyourboxes What ya talking about? Apple TV+ has a bunch of awesome shows. Severance, Silo, Dark Matter, Ted Lasso, Foundation..
I love this series, so hard to wait weekly.
shes obviously pretty but her personality is so attractive.
Every time I see her on one of these shows, it makes me wish Craig Ferguson was still around. THAT interview would be EPIC!
Sharing the last name makes it doubly epic!
Epic line would be "l’m gonna treat you like if you were my sister!" 😎
I was honestly just thinking this.

Craig was the BESTTTTTT

Rebecca is so gorgeous and is remarkable in Silo, Mission Impossible (hope she returns in the final) and Dune
Lol😂🎉
She died in it so no return
@@Denis-89 I hoped she had survived
@@05assahse well it is a spy movie so anything is possible. Probably not but who knows?
Rebecca is STUNNING!

Her body language said it all! So restless
She’s so deceptively beautiful with how awkward she plays into it. It’s so flirty and fun and wow 😍 new crush for sure
It’s a crime that Craig Ferguson and Rebecca Ferguson never did an interview together she exudes Craig’s vibe perfectly LMAO.
This interview should have been about Rebecca. Not Tom or Dwayne with the pillow fight.
THIS COMMENT 🫶❤
I know and by the time he asked about silo she just was over it. Didn’t get much info on the show
Ilsa was my favorite female character in Mission Impossible.
Rebecca is so gorgeous ❤️
Can’t wait for season 2 of Silo! 👏🏻
Her coming out and saying I clean up after Dwayne on the day he admits to pissing in water bottles on set is wild.
What’s wrong with personal pee bottles BRUV?!
Did not expect them to be such a comedic duo 😆
Silo, Dune, and Doctor Sleep!!!!! Yessssssss, shes so damn wonderful

I just love her in interviews :) Totally crazy energy
would love to watch more of jimmy fallon had he not interrupt his guest so much. on a separate note, reb is gorgeous
I’ve been waiting for Silo Season 2! Love Rebecca
I've been a fan of her ever since she shot that guy in the face in Mission Impossible: Fallout.
I've been a fan since she tried to shoot a guy wearing that yellow dress in Rogue Nation 10 years ago😍😍
She will be back in Final Reckoning!
I'm so proud of getting all these references- Vienna Opera, keeping the ankle break in the movie, Dwayne Johnson.
Forget that Mission Impossible stuff. Her portrayal of Rose the Hat was spot on.
Preach! Best villain ever
Great energy this girl possess
Rebecca is STUNNING!
Knuckle fist... you got me 😂
Rebecca is truly the whole package with a sprinkle of chaos.
Loved this so much!!
beautiful and talented!
What just happened? Side note, she is stunningly beautiful.
Rebecca and Jimmy are so chaotic and I loved it 😂

She needs to be a regular on this show. Her energy takes Jimmy off his game and causes him to try and steer the ship. It’s a good chaotic energy!
We gonna miss Ilsa in MI Final Reckoning😭😭😭
2:13 gotta admit that was funny and quick thinking on the spot by Jimmy that bit with the hands

This episode is so funny 🤣
Ready for silo s2
I have a tip for winking with an eyepatch on without being able to wink... just close both eyes.
She's still beautiful
I saw video of a sniper with an insect crawling over his eye. No winking, not even for that. That's hard core.
never enough! never, never! #youknowifyouknow
