- Hatred and persecution of Christians is rampant in the first century church as witnessed in the ancient texts of the Bible. Acts 19 draws the parallels of this mob mentality to the modern-day world we are experiencing. Pastor John warns us this week to beware of the secret intentions of our hearts, as we sometimes lose our faith in the name of noble causes that draw us away from our mighty God.

As WPS alumni, a host of Maine training classes, a WPSN member since before the app was launched, your content has helped me immensely, but none of it is as good as your sharing of Gods word. Keep spreading the gospel. Love you man.
Edit: you’ve helped my wife and I breach the door into homeschooling this year. Thank you sir.
Too true, brother!
John, I have been following you since the very beginning of WPS and when I found out that you now pastor a church I literally almost jumped for joy in my kitchen. Though I definitely consider myself a gun guy and have learned a lot about being an equipped protect from you, this is why you are one of my favorite humans on the planet. Your love for Jesus and willingness to speak truth into a lost and dying world is so encouraging to me. When I found out that Grace City is a thing I told my wife we’re moving to Georgia. 😂 Keep fighting for truth my friend.
Glad to see you have this channel, keep being the light! Thanks and God bless.
Came for your medical WPS knowledge. Found hard truths here. Thank God for your message if I can thank the source.
Great message Pastor John! Thank really appreciate you.
8:23 Oh wow. That’s both huge and exactly what I needed to hear.
I suppose my most sincere response and or comment, would simply be; thank you for that message 🙏
Dang John, spitting some fire. Spirit is with you man, keep up your walk brother! Hope to give you a high 5 in heaven or sooner!
Amen
One of the best sermons I’ve ever heard. Thanks.
God Bless & Bless God
John you’re literally one of the only Christians I can listen to nowadays.
Thank God for you and all of your supporting family, friends and followers.
He is pouring His Spirit upon the world.
I just found you here. Thank you, brother.
Outstanding, i needed this sermon for me...
Sovereignty of God
AMEN
Thank you✝️🙏
Excellent John ❤️
I appreciate your message
I want to start off this comment first with an apology. I was blessed to get to meet Mr. Lovell at Kalahari at the Homeschool Convention at his booth. My sons and I were so excited to meet him, we kind of just forgot simple things like manners.🤦♂️ Very sorry for that, please forgive us. You were very kind the whole time.
I’ve been helping teach parents for almost 10 years, learning from a man named Myles Sweeney in Wharton, TX. He has a series called Kingdom Families that we use as our “curriculum” in our Bible study. Long story short, I thought Myles was the only one who got the importance of raising world changers, passing a torch to our young men and women we are blessed to raise in our homes(our kids, but really Gods kids).
I just want to say thank you for looking ahead. Letting God use you to help pave a way that is bright and hopeful. I’m tired of hearing about the doom and gloom of the world and refreshed to see action being taken to stand against it. Fight the good fight of faith, and keep doing what you are doing until God tells you different.
👍
Hey Pastor John, I'm not sure what channels you actually manage, but I hope this finds you well. My family and I went to your church this past Sunday and you delivered a great sermon, although our kids were kind of rowdy, my apologies for that. We've been watching your sermons for a while and I've watched some of your other theological content. I got to meet some of your congregants and it seems like a great church; we're looking for a church home and that's why we visited. Something seemed a little off about the service and I was wondering if you were open to a conversation about it? Best regards.
As a GCC congregant, I suggest you instead of trying to talk to John, you talk to another member of the staff. John is MUCH too busy to chat with folks that don't even regularly attend his church, much less someone who has a critical item they want to share. The appropriate behavior is to chat with one of the other pastors. They will be able to help you resolve the personal issue you are having with the service format. May God Bless you in your conversation if you choose to have it.
@@Hebrews12v2 Thank you for reaching out to me. I guess I'm not familiar with the structure of your church, I've never been told it's not appropriate to try to speak with the teaching pastor. If you don't mind me asking, you said he's far too busy, is that in the church?
Best regards
@@DeoVolente_VayaConDios John is not only the Pastor of Grace City Rome, John also runs several businesses and a media company. John travels extensively due to those businesses and speaking requests. I didn't mean to suggest you can't talk to him, I was instead saying it is appropriate to take your concerns to other leaders of the local church who actually deal with these type matters. John simply has no time to be bogged down with issues that are better handled by those closest to the issue. Please DO take your concern to one of the other leaders/pastors at Grace City Rome!
@@Hebrews12v2 Thank you for the clarification, I do appreciate that.
@@Hebrews12v2 I was wondering, when do you have communion?
