I used to strip tons of wires like that very easily. I used a board in which I had grooves of different depths, a cable clip to guide them throug and a flat blade to cut the isolation. Maybe not worth the effort on real short pieces but I could do almost a barrel on a single evening. As for the rest of that stuff, might be worth the effort to completely break it down.
You'll get there my son trust me love the vids keep em coming and making us up here jealous as usual. ...lol....good luck you lot....love big non ferrousey stuff....jules in the mids scrappers

Looked like there might've been some silver contacts in all that little copper
that all looked good, better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick
Those long boxes are electronic point’s switches

dobra robota👍pozdrawiam z Polski 👍
Another great video, I’m the same as you weigh my motors in as motor, my time is more valuable
Not a bad score that mate
Nice
Personally I would strip it out, could be well worth the work, the switch gear.
You would need steel toe capped boots or you could damage yourself.
The white metal could be cupranickel
How much is iron at the moment
Can I as where you are based? Only just found your channel and have subscribed
Kent buddy thanks for the sub
Burn the wire
It's probably manganese brass
You sure it's not phosphorous bronze they used to use it on the rail donkey's year's ago
