Components of A&B solution for hydroponics
What's the PH and EC? I wish to see more flowers grow hydroponically like this.
Beautiful! I've always loved nasturtiums.
Question though. Doesn't hydroponics mean without soil? You're not the first person I've seen growing in soil above a nutrient solution but I always thought that hydroponics was soil-less growing.
It’s coco coir and perlite mixed. So no nutrients in the media only in the hydroponic solution
@@downunderfulla6001 Thanks for the clarification.
Looks great but not sure why you would waste nutrients on nasturtiums as they prefer a poor soil and can go for prolonged periods without water
I ordered my 1st masterblend from Amazon and received clear plastic bags with a blue sticker, have you used this same company with luck? I read some scary reviews about this seller BGS Supplies and don't know if I should send it back & order straight from the manufacturer or not? Anyone? Thanks.
This is neither hydroponics nor Kratky. This is growing in soil with bottom watering.
I look at it like a hybrid. Whatever it is, I love it! Just what I was looking for to do Nasturtiums. Answered all my questions, except for one I didn’t have before… how are those shelves built? Great project!
It’s not soil it’s coco peat and perlite, no nutrients whatsoever, just for stability and it’s not just water it’s a hydroponic nutrient solution so it is Kratky.
