Sharma was previously the member for Wentworth in the House of Representatives from 2019 to 2022. He was also the Australian Ambassador to Israel from 2013 to 2017.

What a joke. The people of Wentworth decided they didn’t want this yes man as their representative in the Lower House.. so what does “ Dud Man” do ?… appoints him to a Senate Seat! Basically another unelected official in the Senate..great!

This apologist should be ashamed of himself. I'm certainly ashamed that we have elected a member of parliament who is more intent on representing the interests of a foreign nation rather than Australian interests.

Quoting Kissinger to argue against cynicism?😅 A pity he was not able to mention the long-term support of Hamas by Netanyahu. It's common knowledge. How about putting the blame for the barbarism of 7 Oct and the subsequent genocidal attacks by Israel where it belongs? Very disappointing.
