If this is a real fight in the manga it would've been great as an flashback and they prolly wouldn't use real nichirin blades but a wood one (same applied to giyuu vs sanemi in the manga).

@@immortalsoul5073 nooo, Mugen train Rengoku was almost equal to Giyuu, Pre hashira Giyuu base is stronger tho, but in the same arc Rengoku is actually at the same lvl
@@Saketsu Actually No. Base Giyu was stronger than rengoku. And at base Giyu and Sanemi are equals.
Giyu is overall a better swordsmen and more experienced. He became a pillar when Shinjuro rengoku was a pillar.
Just to give a comparison. Base Sanemi skipped a whole weel of hashira training But tied with Sanemi who was fully commited to hashira training.
