I know a lot of his fans found him after he passed away, but just reading his stories and passion for music, MelodicPony would be crying if he knew his composition was played by an orchestra like yours. Huge shoutout to him, Daniel Ingram, and the Prague Film Orchestra!

10 years later, and the Prague Film Orchestra plays MelodicPony’s composition, just like he wished.

MelodicPony was one of the bright shining lights of the fandom; a very talented composer. So wonderful to see a tribute like this. Such a beautiful performance.

Sure. We were recording in the studio with collaboration with MelodicPony’s father (not this video). We were asked to do it with collaboration of czech base. We weren’t aware the credit was needed due to thought it is original work.

This actually brought tears to my eyes. I remember being crushed when MelodicPony passed in 2016. His music got me through some rough times. Hearing it finally done justice like this is probably the best that could ever be hoped for. Thank you so much.

Amazing performance. Thanks for this. i've been a fan of melodicpony's music for years and to hear a live version of it is wonderful.
For clarification (because I saw some confusion in other posts), what MelodicPony did was to take an ep of mlp and select parts of the background score (written by William Anderson) and reorchestrate them, retool them, combine them, create his own compositions and weave it all together to form a single seamless track. So you can say they are a mix of his own compositions, his own rearrangements of existing works and the existing works themselves (tho he never actually samples the tracks in his works).
this one is slightly different from the other half dozen tracks he did before he sadly passed, in that this track includes not just bits from William Anderson's score for the season 3 finale of the show, but also small parts from the songs "Celestia's Ballad" and "Behold, Princess Twilight Sparkle" that appear in the episode, both composed and written by Daniel Ingram.
There is enough there for fans to immediately know what is being referenced, but are still very different from the original versions. and all are absolutely beautiful.
Where can I listen to the William Anderson scores in S03E13? They are much harder to find than specific songs I feel like

Funny enough he made MLP FIM themed songs. 2ndly he wasnt even a profession in the normal sense but holy hell he did an amazing job check out Melodic Pony hes got a few he finished before passing away
He died in his late twenties I believe. So sad the world lost such a talented composer so young :,(
