These are so cool, I'm sure people are still cooking these somewhere
Thank you for whispering me to sleep every night.
My mum had these, complete with blue plastic box. I think they were sold weekly so after a year you had the whole set.
Sooo glad I’ve found you recently! Love these old recipe cards, I have a box from the early 70s I’ve been working my way through during quarantine.
Wonderful!
Growing up in the 70s they were always advertising Betty Crocker recipe cards and OH how I longed for them! I LOVED this video so much I just went to eBay and bought a set!!!!
My mother had a set of these cards but she never managed to complete the collection, so when I saw these in a charity shop last year I HAD to have them!
I love the recipe cards. Thank you so much Kate! Those do look like biscuits on the cobbler.
Yes, they must be I think.
I like your sweet voice! thank you🌸🌹❤️🌺
This was deliciously whispery. Can you name the recipe collection again, I mean, who published it and its title? I also collect cookbooks from the 1950s and 1960s. Thank you!
Sweet voice •• go to sleep 😌
It was so good
Never mind. I looked more carefully and found they were Marguerite Patten's Recipe Cards. Thank you.
Glad you found them Elinor!
Those are some of the weirdest soups I've ever heard of. Minestrone, devilled eggs and French onion soup appear to be they only snacks and soups who stood the test of time
I know! The 60s in Britain was a weird time for food!
Why do I enjoy the way you say bacon waaaaay too much?
Loool! I'll have to do an exclusive bacon recipes video for you!
Sweet dreams are made of cheese,
Who am I to disagree?
:-)
