Dynamics, intonation, phrasing, enunciation, part balance, countenance, spirit (holy and personal), programming variety and best of class arrangements. All of these elements superbly present, yet each singer appears effortless in their delivery. While someone else could find 22 different singers (even 44, perhaps 88) who bring similar spiritual gifts, vocal experience and the same commitment to rehearsals, they would not deliver a comparable performance.
I truly believe whether a singing ensemble calls itself a choir, chorus, chorale, chamber singers, glee club, choristers, vocal band or Ferdinand Singers, its conductor is the secret sauce performing at this level. Singers can come and go over many years under his leadership and this group will endure. It's fitting that the group has been organized under Dr. Ferdinand's name. An extraordinary performance for sure.

I started to listen to this concert before church with the intention of only hearing part of it; but I couldn’t stop until the end. Praise God, He gives us a taste of what Heaven will be like for eternity. I must be there by His grace, and bow in humble recognition of His glory. Amen!

Incredible! As an alum of an HBCU choir, I have great appreciation for this worship experience.

@@HoneySwtDrms I am sorry. My mistake.I usually refer to black people as Africans. Also I bore in mind that it was the black anthem that was been sung at the time. I have met almost every member of that choir.A few since they were 6 yrs old🙂.My apology to anyone whom I have offended.God bless🙏

@@HoneySwtDrms there you go. We are only embraced as Americans when we are doing something right. Otherwise we are told to go back to Africa. Are you lost sight of the significance of the song, “Lift every voice and sing”?

A Prayer by Ken Burton was so powerful guys. Really brought out the emotion of the poem, absolutely loved how the "soloist" expressed that, "aching"

I love how the arranger Cedric, of “He’s got the whole world” was unconsciously directing the song… l😅
