There aren't many bands out there that can pull off being astride so many different musical genres but at the same time preserving the core of what makes them their own band. Love these guys!

Just heard this on a local station. Thought it was legit a 70s song that I didn't know. Phone led me here. I was honestly fooled. I don't know who produced this or who this is,, but it could be straight out of 1974. Very, very impressed.

The start of this is the same melody as "Genesis - That's All"
When I heard it for the first time at Red Rocks, I swore I knew the sound. Had to wait for it to be released so I could hear it again and pin down what song it was.

"what if i" is really & truly a marvelous song. it is superbly orchestrated! i love how it is showcasing Nathaniel's beautifully evolving voice, songwriting & composing skills and that every NRNS musician is mastering their craft! NRNS are just so unbelievably fantastic. "what if i", this just released original audio from their soon to be released album, plus "survivor" and "love don't" each make us go WOW! we've been around a long, long time. rock&roll, r&b, jazz, folk, country, bluegrass ... listening to the radio late at night ... hearing Murray the"k" play The Beatles first released song in the U.S. and going WOW ... so many others too along the way had the WOW ... NRNS have it! so many great songs from such a great band. their music gives us goose bumps and make us really want to dance like the wild kids we once were. their music has been such a beautiful bright light. all the love for NRNS for giving us that.
