Just amazing how Emanuel Steward could keep up with this heavyweight at his age

Manny was the best trainer for a tall fighter. He knew, better than anyone, how to get a guy to use his range. This is why he had the greatest record of any trainer at heavyweight.
Take special notice of two things. He has Klitschko throw the Jab at the right mitt and not the left mitt as is usual because it allows him to throw it straighter and longer and not across his body. You can throw a jab from greater distance when you're throwing it at the opposite hand instead of the corresponding hand as is normal. He also never throws a double jab. He may throw two hard jabs, but he never throws a double jab. He did this because if you throw a double jab you are inclined to give up height. This is the nuanced brilliance of Steward.
If you watch other trainers, you generally won't see this.
Tyson Fury also got the basic fundamentals reach advantages from Emanuel Steward and is now being coached by his student, Sugar Hill. My honest question, what is he going to teach a boxer (in the training camp) who is almost the same height, like when Fury fought Wilder? Sugar Hill made Fury win easier in the second and third matches
Thomas hearns , Mclleand , Lennox . Andy lee , Jermaine Taylor all tall fighters with a longer than usual reach . Deontay wilder would of benefited from that kronk. style.

Manny is a old man here with a brutal hitting heavyweight and he handles it like a boss...those all school trainers are something else

btw Klitschko was throwing it on the right mitt, but Emanuel Steward was one hell of a coach and he kept it really close to his chin or his head, to simulate a real fight
In fact if you notice most of the trainers hold the mitts either too high, too far from the chin or sometimes even near the ears and that doesn't help
