My daughter and I saw them in the beginning of Sep 2017. They outplayed QOTSA. Next week we get to see them for a 3rd time this year at CalJam. I can't wait for these guys to headline like they did back in May 2017 at Saint Andrew, Detroit, MI. They blew that place away, and the show was oversold by 100's of people.
Michelle Wys Parents like you are awesome! That fact that you and your daughter like the same music is great, I can't even get my dad interested let alone go to a concert with me.
Good band. It's a shame you need to be bank rolled by mummy and daddy nowadays before labels get interested so this equals middle class rock bands with no clue what rock and roll really is. I wish I hadn't watched this interview.
@@obscuria2345 he basically means that any band that isn’t from a council estate (oasis basically) have had financial help which makes them a less genuine band. In other words a stupid view
Tell me how these rip off merchants can headline the bloody festival before Queens of the Stone Age , would literally be an outrage. Such regressive music.
mark hawksford Queens are well overdue , arguably pioneers they have an amazing back catalogue and a new album soon, not quite the house hold name of Foo fighters but that's because they are more gritty blues rock , blunt direct lyrics and more melodic. They could attract Arctic Monkeys and Dave Grohl guest spots too . Royal Bloods Rise of manufactured-for the-market ,regressive ,lethargic beat and bass template highlights the voids in the market and Neanderthals of this generation. This has already been done 8-10 years ago , they offer no more than bands like DFA1979 other than being squeaky clean and complete robot slaves to the industry .Their days are numbered big time but of course we expect them to 'take a creative risk ' and add drum machines or do pop collabs. This band epitomises how successful you can be by ramming cancerous internet marketing campaigns down the throats of the population.
Queens certainly have the catalog , and rock credibility to headline - josh is a living legend in his own right- as a guitarist, producer and influencer and this is coming from someone who's seen them both at least half a dozen times apiece but, for a crowd that has no prior introduction or experience with a band , royal bloods arena sound and instant likeability in that aspect might make them the more marketable choice , both killer bands no doubt, cant wait to catch them both at MSG
Do you wear your tinfoil hat to bed? Ben thatcher Plays the backing vocals on a clicker you fool and they have already said no to jumping on collabs because others are doing it. anyway continue playing metallica songs all your life going nowhere but knowing in your little head, you're right.

They are sooo good
Can hear the circa waves set in the background the whole time
I thought I recognised those sounds.
Why does Mike sound so much like Dom Howard
Because he is gay
calling gay someone gay in 2018 is not an insult
@@westex245 not an insult

They're both amazing and how QOTSA haven't headlined already I do not know. Maybe if Villains was July release things would be different
