More than that, in the opening cinematic of the game just after spawning for the first time, there is literally written that the towers are key and the tree something something. The tree is pretty much important in the lore and will probably serve as an endgame area when endgame will be added, with the need to finish all towers before accessing it for some reason.
That's what I'm guessing too that the island is just a placeholder for future content! The message at the beginning of the game made me wonder if you had to beat the towers then go there.
It will never "come fully" This is the state the game industry is in. Games come out early access and gradually get better over time. There will never be a "retail release" thats going to transform everything in a single download. Its gonna be years of patches and updates. However I will say the game is 70% there when it comes to being a full bugless game.
@@syntrexfpv1347 Not bugless by any mean, both base building and Pal management in bases is totally broken. Pal pathfinding also, and raids. Pretty much everything has large amounts of bug, just nothing gamebreaking. That being said, of course they will maintain the game and "upgrade it" little by little if they choose to really stick with it like they did with their previous game, Craftopia. Craftopioa obtained recently a really big update that changed a lot of things, polished the game and optimized it, and this update was also used to take the game out of Early Access if I remember right. Seems like those devs likes to finish their games, which is refreshing in the Early Access scene nowadays.
@@Wyte_Knight oh i agree base building, job assignment, capture rate of pals needs a lot of work but for all the things that do work well its very impressive.
Its so sad that like Elden ring the first thing you see when you enter the open world is a big tree however in this game it is not interactive which is a shame since the tower bosses hint at it all being related. Why put it there if its not accessible..
That bothered me too I built up anticipation of going to the tree after finishing the towers bc the clues at the beginning. That was a big letdown that it's really nothing.

Hope so it will be something, I know game is in early access but lets be honest , lots of games are in early access and they are like 2-3 years old
