A new overclock, replacing Manual Guidance Cutoff! The stats for this one are: +216 ammo, -8 direct damage, -9 area damage, and x3 rate of fire. It feels really fun, but not crazy strong or anything. I like it. These weapon tweaks have been my favorite part of the update so far.

I've always wanted some changes to the hurricane. Felt like it was outperformed by the minigun and autocannon. Even if this isn't statistically powerful it looks like a lot of fun
I honestly don't think it's generally worse. Minelayer's power level is on par with NTP and JFH outperforms LSLS on weakpoint hits, although being less versatile overall.
Honestly, Hurricane’s my favorite though. Lead Storm feels like a pain to use, especially if there’s a lot of armored enemies, and the Autocannon just doesn’t feel as good as the Hurricane, with its long reload and lack of accuracy. The new OC looks like a lot of fun, but kinda makes the Hurricane less unique, in my opinion.
give a try to the plasmaburster rockets, they're quite fun after last buffs
Hurricane is not outperformed by autocannon by any means. Autocannon is painfully bad in comparison to alternatives
@@letrashcan6239 Well, at least by some means. Crowd control and wave dps you have neuro toxin and fear. Removes pressure by weakening and dispersing much of the waves.
Then there's whatever the one overclock is that makes splash huge that has great DPS.
For crowd clearing the autocannon is the statistical winner by far
Wow this is a cool looking OC, I wasn't expecting them to swap out the missile guidance cutoff for something else. Looks really fun. Stun would def be more reliable with that extra ROF. I'm curious what it looks like with the ROF mod stacked on top of it but I can see double mag is the way to go here, eating through it so fast even at 72.
So we can make it a rocket shotgun or a rocket machine gun.. I like this, nice to see one of the largely ignored OCs get reworked.
The hurricane may not feel as powerful as the minigun or AC in a lot of circumstances but it’s still my favorite. Just really fun to use
It's more a machine gun/lmg, the shotgun would be the other oc that loads up to 9 rockets. Still, I do like it, gives it it's own unique feeling from the other weapons and overclocks
Why do people always say that the hurricane is not as powerful as ac or leadstorm? With minelayer the hurricane is absolutely absurd, I get way more kills with that than any other build and it’s not even close
When the season came out, I went Gunner and found this in place of manual guidance cutoff.
I read it and immediately tricked out a build for crowd clearing and going immediately for the max rof.
It was the most fun I had with a hurricane. Was capable of turning bugs in chunks in a near instant and was able to more than half the health of a praetorian with one mag dump of 36 rockets.
It felt soo good to mag dump on wave of enemies. Plus, there is plenty of ammo to compensate for sheer rof.
10/10.

finally, micro fletchettes but good
Microflechettes always been my goto for gunner secondary with lead storn oc on minigun, the increased ammo with the 3 bullet stuns just trivializes mactera swarms and lets you run through waves of enemies with blowthrough rounds

@@Nova_Spectre I love micro fletchettes but only use it for low Haz levels, I wish it was better. It's fine, but you get more mileage out of every other OC. It's just fun to spam with tons of ammo

Damn, that change to double barrel though. OC was super ammo efficient as it could clear grunts within 4m of you with one shot if you animation canceled the second shot. 😞
The cancel was too strong, it had to go. Still a fun oc. Lets you take fat chomps out of a pread’s healthbar
A nerf to the ammo economy, but still a buff to shooting frozen enemies while using the white phosphorus mod

Doesn't feel worth using tbh, you blow through your ammo so fast for very little damage at this point u're better using the autocannon

Sometimes people prefer fun over viability, and this thing looks fun as hell

@@itsKimi for now plasma bursters look just op, not funny. I prefer spamming shit load of rockets at poor grunts
@@Skladak_Killer_98 You can do the same thing this does but literally better with Overtuned Feed Mechanism. These "loads of ammo but no dmg" OCs are pretty bad for anything but applying stun/status effects imo. You end up spending more ammo than if you just had more dmg but less ammo

I accidentally stumbled onto this OC- I didn't know I had it because I really don't like the rocket barrage. I don't want to keep aiming to guide the rockets, it just throws me off.
So, saw this- tried it and it's not omega powerful but it's a lot of fun with the amount of explosions you're kicking out.
just got this and i decided to become gunner main super fun to use just not my cup of tea long range

i am not against having an overclock like this, but i wish they had just buffed the MGC with a +7 rof when tap firing. this would give a nice buff without taking away the standard ability to aim at will.
Damn. Good thing they changed Manual Guidance Cutoff into this. Fair all around; not sure about the ammo count though seems too much even without you using the ammo mod on tier 1
the ammo is fine, they go through about a third of it around the time you normally would for minigun or thunderhead when you’re just dealing with normal trash mobs
the damage is ridiculously tiny for what it is. It's also a projectile so while rapidly firing, a few of them hits nothing or just does a bit of AoE.
The weapon really struggles
I swapped to the beta to just check out stats, I probably should have stayed because whatever numbers I saw did not tell me it would look this fun

This looks fun, BUT. I have a feeling that overclock makes overall hurricane's efficiency even worse than ever. And it already had bad ammo efficiency :D
Yeah this is why I prefer fragmentation misses, you get all the ad clear with none of the downsides of abysmal dps and total damage
Forgive me, but how is this really different from jet fuel home brew? That mod basically turns the launcher into a minigun same as this without being able to really turn the missiles since they fire out so fast, and hard. These mod are basically the same thing.
You have way more single target ammo efficiency with JFH and better single target sustain, while Rocket Barrage has a normal hurricane AOE and is more or less comparable to normal hurricane with more stun and DPS granularity

It's pretty good, and about on par with the other non-minelayer Hurricane OCs. I like it! Feels very fresh and unique while being in line with the gun's normal performance and role.

Cool. But that's not how flashlights work. A light that size would also cause a sort of light bubble illuminating things around you. This can be accomplished by adding a slightly dimmer light emission object that's in or just above your character. If you want to see what I mean. Get, even a weak, flashlight and go into a pitch black room. Turn it on. You are going to see a lot more than a damn circle.

Modded I believe. Unless it was a dive deep, but I don’t think it was based on the UI
