Stellar detail, striking colours, terrific close-ups that appear not to be disturbing to the aquatic creatures. Feel as if I am swimming in scuba gear filming them myself - as if I could even touch them 😇🌊🐡🐠🐟🐙🐌🌊 P.S. I watch these videos silently mostly, music is of no necessity for me. The more close to nature, the better. All I need is imagination (and if need be the sound of bubbles & underwater natural sounds). Perfect !
Drew love your bonaire vids. i've been there alot, and cant wait to go back in a few weeks again. can you tell more of the specifics of your macro setup - what housing, and which lights specifically, for the Olym TG? Would love to upgrade from my gopro to a better setup and yours looks so good. thanks. RJF

Hi, Sorry for the delay. I used 2 cameras for these videos. All the close-up MACRO was shot with a Olympus tg-4 (now tg-5) in a housing with a 2800 Lumen Video light. The wide Angle was shot with a Sony RX100ii (now RX100v) with 2 2800 Lumen Video lights. I also just shot 400 Gigs in Lembeh, all MACRO and the TG-5 was awesome.
I usually attach a GoPro to my wide angle camera, but not to the MACRO cameras. I have used 2, 3 and now 5 on my dives and I did try the flip filter and MACRO, but the Olympus is so much better, that's all I use for MACRO now. It's about the same price, except the housing is more. One thing. There are a bunch of $29 video lights at Amazon and I took 2 with me to test on the trip. My dive buddy used one for about 10 dives and did great. Amazing how cheap and about 800 L. I'd buy a few of them as they will make a massive diference.
Thank you very much for your reply, Drew. I do have two 2800 video lights which has UV and red light capability. I will be using that for UV night guided dive in Bonaire with GoPro camera. Unsure how it will turn out for the night dive. I will post and tag you on it once I am done with my trip.
