I just purchased it being on sale under that $300 price point as you mentioned. The one thing I have noticed is that, for rear delts, there are no inside handles to hold onto, as in some of the more expensive commercial grade pec dec machines. Otherwise, for a home gym, I believe this machine is more than adequate. I was considering the Titan, but it uses exclusively Olympic plates. My collection is both Olympic and standard. I don't want to buy any more Olympic plates for my home gym, but I have years' worth of standard plates. I really wanted the Body Solid machine, but I could not justify paying more than twice as much money in order to get 11 gauge steel and a bit more heavy duty.
That’s a win that you can use 1 in plates with this! For $300 it’s really perfect and really if it’s only a few people using it on a weekly basis, it’ll be perfect! Feel like for a machine like this, you don’t need the more higher end to get these exercises accomplished! Let me know what you think of it!!
Without sitting on it and trying the Syedee I still feel I'm going to order the Body Solid machine instead. I don't like the wobble your Syedee shows in this video. I also have never heard anyone comment on the chest squeeze you are or aren't getting. I do own the Syedee Hack Squat machine and it's a great machine, especially if you have bad knees.
BS range is $580 - $685. Fortunately i rarely need to adjust cost vs. quality. Been doing this since '86. How does your chest isolation feel after using the Syedee? I know how the BS feels.
I feel a solid squeeze! I like to hold it for a couple seconds to really have that mind muscle connection. I mean for the price it’s hard to beat. Rear delts feel great too
I purchased this mainly for my chest workouts..very solid piece of equipment for $300. Also you might want to doubled check your assembly..im able to easily adjust the swivel arms with or without weight. Thanks for the review.
I agree that having a fly machine can be awesome to have, especially if that isolation exercise is important to your training and you have the space. Good overview. Looking forward to the review
Great video bro and that piece of gym equipment looks solid and for that price is a steal. Overall great work man and I look forward to the next one 💪💯👍👊
great video, thanks for the review. if i didn’t have a cable crossover on my cage i’d definitely get this. Doesn’t look much different than Titan’s and it’s much cheaper (even at Titan’s cheapest price… I think Titan had it for 380 last Christmas)
I have been looking at this one for sometime now. Costs alot less than titan and doesn't require painting to match my smith machine (both red). The price is def right at only $300 I just don't have the room right now for it. Perhaps next year with some rearranging I can just make it fit? I miss this type of machine for both pecs and lats.
That’s a win with that color!! And I think so. 10 square feet isn’t too much and if you get creative with rearranging, you can for sure make it happen bro!
Luke looking at a home gym what are your thoughts Amazon has a Syedee home gym and a Sportsroyal home gym same price would like your opinion on them. Appreciate your time.
PERSONAL don’t know anything about Sportsroyal so it’s hard to gauge if they are worth it, BUT, owning a syedee product and their calf raise (GMWD but same thing material wise) it’s perfect for the home gym. Yeah it’s all 14 gauge steel and not constructed as HIGH quality, but if it’s only being used by you or a few others on a weekly basis, I see no issues with their products and your wallet will thank you later. If you’re a powerlifter whose trying to max out HEAVY weight, then these products aren’t for you. It’s meant for people who are looking to get strong and stay healthy but not sure trying compete in the next Arnold lol
Physical Medicine and Rehab doc here. I am a bit of s stickler on machine flies and he only brought the arm to midline. I believe the vast majority of people do machine flies wrong. To fully contract the pec you need to cross midline. Luke, can you cross midline with that machine?
I've been contemplated the one by Titan which i think have a better fabric and quality but $300 is like half the pride of Titan when its not on sale. And since Im getting a functional trainer attachment not sure if i really need this unless i just want more options and variety and of course that extra lil space lol and they do have a lot of similar home gym equipments as Titan but im not onto the red color lol
@@LukesGarageGym yes because black will go with any color scheme. Some don't care about colors but I know many do too. Like I'm doing Orange. My X3 rack is orange lol
@@LukesGarageGym The Ares is very nice because it does not take any additional footprint outside the rack minus the pulleys. I upgraded about a year ago from a Fit Gear rack and the footprint is nearly the same.
100% I think it’s worth it! It’s basically identical to titans for a few hundred dollars cheaper. I use it 2 times a week. Titan has better gauge of steel but this does 2 exercises and if you aren’t looking to beat it up and only you really use it, I’d snag.
@@LukesGarageGym thanks for the reply u said titan has better steel,I want ur opinion man I've never even done pec Dec flys but I'm a pretty big guy 6'2 240 lbs and can bench 340lbs and I tend to tear gym equipment up pretty easily lol, do u think the machine would hold up for at least a year as long as I don't slam the weights too bad?
@@Tristan56955 this is for sure a budget option. If you need it for a year, you will be fine!! I think it’ll last me forever as long as you don’t slam it when you finish a set, They sell a lot of machines too for an affordable price. I like their calf raise! I use it weekly!
@@LukesGarageGym yessir I know it's a budget option that's why I asked u if u think if it would hold up for a year, figured if i could get a years worth of work out of it it would be worth the $300! thanks bro!

I have several Syedee products. They are excellent machines for the price, and I have zero complaints.
