    I have a doubt ....in ur formula the value of r should be from 0 to n-1 so as to apply the formula but in 2nd example it's r value begins with 1 ...and 1st example the r value ended with n instead of n-1 ....so how can we apply formula when the values of r are not right

    No one is saying that if r/n =x then how 1/n became dx coz if r/n=x then dx should be equal to dr/n. Now if anybody understood my doubt , please tell me...

      We haven't differentiated it in real it is just a way that we replace them with x and dx to proceed further
