    that's cool man. wish we had someone who cared enough to clean out our swimming hole when I was a kid. as a matter of fact when we found a good fairly deep hole most of which were only around 4' deep. the person who owned the land or that section of the creek would fill it in. then we had to wait for a good rain to wash it out again, sometimes it took years. if I had a dozer I would dig a hole in the creek as deep as I could get it. try to get it all the way to the slate rock. that way easier on the feet...lol...

    to all those that say you couldn't do that here think of this the bridge builder couldn't have left the mess there either so this wouldn't have needed to be done!

    Josh does that water run year round? What the deepest part? Any catfish or snapping turtles. Always wanted to try on a small creek that ran year round to dig deep hole and try generating electricity.

      Yes runs year round.our "swimming hole" is about 8 Ft at the deepest. Turtles yes catfish sometimes just depends on if they wash out of farm ponds and make it to the creek. We are about a mile from the spring opening for this creek so not much room for typical game fish that close to the beginning. Farther you get down stream more species of fish there are

      Josh Beckett I grew playing in up in a creek-down a steep hill from our home. I live in corn and bean field country with a Nuke plant 8 miles from house. Over 550,000 gallons of water go thru plant per minute and exit thru flume ditch. Awesome fishing in early spring /first part of summer. Love to take u and Kapper in my boat fishing. Used to walk water stream ditches thru corn fields and pull out snapping turtles. Was taught very young how to do it otherwise would probably of been scared of it. Thankfully, we don't have many snakes. Especially no snakes in trees like Kapper. That drive me nuts always looking up. If its legal for u, we always tie plastic milk jugs, to trees half way filled with water. Put heavy duty smaller strand rope a large treble hook with rotten bait meat and catch turtles in ponds and creeks, Snappers leave larger creeks and move to small ponds and shallow slower moving water in spring to lay eggs. Had to check lines Morning and night, did not want turtles or fish dying. Awesome eating. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks unfortunately it's broke right now. Possibly something big that's going to cost a lot of money to fix. We are having a diesel mechanic look at it this next week

      Josh Beckett so what did the mechanic say? Are you guys fixing this machine?

    • @joshbeckett223
      @joshbeckett223  6 лет назад +1

      the majority should be getting back any day now. It’s been a booger to get parts for but everything is there and mechanic finally got it oiling right. Got everything put together again only to find out the top end was only oiling 4 of the 8 lifters on it. He said more than likely that’s what caused one of the push tubes to break.

      It's not a bulldozer, they have a blade. With a bucket it's a Traxcavator or Drott.

      Nicholas Pratt : it's a caterpillar 951b track loader. A very handy machine. Put a 4 in 1 bucket on it and it's even better.
