But some time, the sorrows became bored from just collecting the souls only after the people died, that THEY started to kill them as a game. Turning their duty of reaping into a competition on who would cause the most deaths. And because of the fact death had no way to keep them in check, not even by a spell, they grew more arrogant and soon didn't care death was thier boss. This caused them to be lazy because they just passed all the souls on to death, who in turn was overwhelmed from the souls that he started to shrink, overworked and soon burned out. This caused death to finally have enough and decided that the best way to finish a job, he had to remind them who was the boss. So to get them back to work and remind him HES the boss, he went to the sorrows to personally beat them until either they return to work, or be erased. Once he was done, he would take a well deserved long vacation to bora bora. And that's when the game begins...
But Deaths here get interrupted by an entity and the door to vacation somehow closed later and then blow up with the "Rest In Paperwork". Is there like another boss that supposed to be beaten????

The reasons are that the game isn't finished yet. For now it is placeholder with the Sorrow of War blowing everything and death getting denied and sent back to his office because there is still at least one more sorrow yet to be addressed (cackling entity that most think is a witch themed sorrow). Over time there will be more bosses, tidbits of story and proper ending.

well rest in peace my dude
Rest in paperwork*
its so funny how everyones using the wrong names for the thanagers when they literally pop up on the side when you kill them lmao -
The intro is cool
Shoutout to brad for being the only one to actually shape up and become competent, whereas the rest would rather still be in defiance and were erased.
All the Sorrows are doing stuff (mostly either sleeping or playing with toys)
And then there's just Maxxx who just
Is there
Sleeping?
Wait, it's already out? Is this the full version or just a demo?
current full version. Early access
Is it just me that noticed, or that the sorrows represent the flaws of humanity?
Handman is depression (?)
Brad is self attraction (?)
Nuke is well, nuke
Mr Gordon Grimes is disgust (?)
Bee Queen, I have to freaking idea.
Mr Hector Krank is anger (?)
Candy, I actually have to freaking idea to why this is a boss.
Maxxx is insanity
And lastly Major Warren Pliskhan is war.
Does anyone notice this?
I actually think they represent different ways to die
Amazing video and the animation on this game looks so awesome :]
So death's employees were killing people too fast or frequently and so death killed them to slow em down; and then when he's about to go on vacation, he's denied because reasons?
No. There a Witch Character That Broke The Elevator.
@@jaggerguth4391 thanks for clearing that up, but was i right about the other stuff?
@@shadowki5687 Yes... and No. Major Warren Maybe Forms a Deal With The Sorrows So He Could Takeover The World.
He killed them bcuz they we're killing people instead of collecting their souls thats why every boss is a way to die
I love how they got every thanager names wrong
It’s nice to see a fellow JP around here.
There were 10 executives introduced in the intro, but only 9 were fought. The 10th executive was the one sitting in the chair in the intro were death became really mad and showcased the silhouette of the bosses. The 10th executive can be seen in the final part, flying around. Man, I'm excited to what happens next.
A witch
I feel like first playthroughers would struggle a lot with Candy, they are very quick, they look unpredictable though I bet there is a pattern, and you really need good reflexes or pattern memorization to get damageless.
im so glad nobody is talking about handman
*and if we did it would be really depressing*
Fun fact: if you look closer at maxxx chest, you can see the needle
I love the way candy fights
Five and a Half Rating Stars for Very Very Excellent
To be honest I wonder how all the bosses died? If you have suggestions please tell me (it has to go with there looks are name)
Woah the graphics look so cool
I know this is totally unrelated to this amazing game, but nice job on your channel icon, I LOVE hollow knight
Approximately how long did it take you to finish the game ?
about 14 hours tho the game can be complete in 2. those 14 hours are multiple runs and i was unlocking weapons.
Really gret job. Well done
Tomorrow is the one year anniversary for this videos
The cutscene are so smooth
Hmm I think this still has a far ways to go but I sincerely like what here it looks amazing.
So we ain’t gonna mention Pumpkin just loving the aesthetic of Death?
8:01 i like the bee queen's design because it reminds me of rayman
Certified Fresh Vanilla Cakes For Very Very Magnificent
Love the mix of a Rayman game combined with a death cells/hollow knight feel
I Really, Really Love GRIM REAPERS The Most ! !
Rest in Paperwork
Candy be like:
I HAVE THE POWER OF GOD AND ANIME!!!
Its cute how Death's soul book just fallows him around like a pet
This game reminds me of like 5 separate games and I mean that in the best way possible
The candy boss is like the soul master from hollow knight
Yeah. But with too much sugar and coffee in the blood.
I gotten an ad of this game at the start of the video, what are the chances?
Happy "Early" Halloween, EveryBody ! !
2:04 DIOOOOOO GAAAAAA i hear that i think i am the only one who hears it
7:18 AYO? perfectly synced with music?
THE PUMPKIN IS TOO ADORABLE
I love the boss music when going against Gordon grimes
I hate W. Hung the most as he is most buggy. If you deplete his health just as he enters the stunned animation he becomes immortal and i have had numerous times that during the Lasso attack he loses his orientation lock so even if you try to get behind him with a well timed air dash he turns around and still hits you with. This kind of bug has also been seen with the big Spooksmen and the big blobs in pollution. can be frustrating
Candy just grew when repeatedly hitting at 10:19
I wonder if the Reaper ever gets his vacation.
a deadly and doom business in my life
u took damage
timestamp: 14:23
edit i forgor to add: look up if ur dumb
Imagine COVID is the final boss
It’s like if Rayman Legends and Hollowknight had a baby. Which I like both of those games, so this looks like a lot of fun!
Haven’t you played the full version of Have A Nice Death on the Nintendo Switch yet?
Neat, now I just need to find a weapons guide and curses guide.
Lets appreciate that Theres a achivement called candice
