Artists who actually sound similar to Textural Being: Basic Channel, Marko Fürstenberg, Vytis.

@@meaningoftheunicorn You are right, but he didn't put out just one track. ruclips.net/video/m87Ocxz5k0Q/видео.html check this & ruclips.net/video/q5zvDo6vcY0/видео.html this. Dub techo as a compact genre didn't exist during that time period of course.

Fonki... what does it mean, Су? I hope you dislike that primitive, dead-rythm music

It´s a joke: I remember a tune, where in the background somebody - to intensify the atmosphere and to give some sort of fictive audience reply to the groove - moans "fonki, fonki" ("funky, funky" with some sort of strange accent") ... in the case of the tune up above: I like these synthetic funk elements, but one can only get a tune like the one from Textural Being with some sort of electronic-music-background ... if one is a "jazz purist", he has no "sensorium" to understand this music ... because it works completely different than jazz: It´s repetitive ... it goes round and round in circles ... I learned to like that ... greetings to russia ... is it russia you are from?

don´t get me wrong: I had to get through this lesson too, being once quite a jazz nerd. But it was made easier for me, because at that time (mid 90s) electronic music had a peak: Goldie´s "timeless", etc ...

I take topics "Why to I listen to music", "Which way do I listen to music", and "What kind of music do I listen to " seriosly. So I have to explore all the musical space with disomforted result that I can't cover it all. Then I become interested with some digest and alternative experience. Add to it I persist to make myself tolerable and I'm curious too. Finally, sometimes I expect delactation from music. Sorry for my poor English. I live in Tver that is between Moscow and St.Petersbug, I originate and come from Eastern Ukraine. My address is bnk.forboris@gmail.com. With regards...
