Mine has just been run in and it's pretty quick off the chocks and has good mid range torque and according to the clocks on the flat, it goes up to 95mph flat out. my first attempt at top speed. . (I was being battered by winds as well) It handles well and is comfy. That's pretty good for a 300cc with a hell of allot of weight to pull. I never expected a rocket ship. But am surprised at the power from a heavy machine being powered by a 300cc I was not expecting much but I got more than I expected. Great for long journeys. If anybody is going to get one you need to get used to the weight but first of all learn the stand assist. Using this when parking it up will mean it will stand on its own without the stands but remember to put the handbrake on. If you use it when you come to a stop whilst riding be aware , you still need to put your feet down first as with a normal bike when coming to a stop. It's pretty pointless other than parking for me cos you still need to put your feet down, when you stop on a run and you can arm when stopped but if you like putting your feet on the trike and not the ground you still need to put your feet down to disengage to move off. A good trike but stand assist only really good for parking it up. Under seat has enough storage for 2 helmets and still a bit of room left over. It also looks better than the rest of the 3 wheelers. Was expecting a 6 or 7 out of 10 bit for me it's an 8 out of 10
The Main reason for my buying my "Trixy" (so it (the bike) is named 😊) was the Feeling when riding, which is the closest Feeling to a motorbike. I tried a MP3 for several weeks, but was not happy with it. The Trixy is no daily driver, only touring and cruising in the landscapes of my beautiful areas in germany. I have seen your video in which you announced "Trixy" (I am glad you write it differently) and you have the same arguments why you prefer the Yamaha Tricity over the other tricycle brands as I have. I ride the whole year on Tricsy, because she is my main vehicle. I enjoy your videos.

I have one and I call mine Tricy. I love it having ridden motorcycles for seventy years and the parking and handling is so easy for a heavy bike. I have had the first service and I am now back riding after a very wet winter as we are now in spring and I have a long ride planned before the weather gets too hot. You are probably wondering where I live? Perth Western Australia. It is ideal weather for most of the year for riding in Western Australia, it is about a third of Australia in size with thousands of km of long good roads. From the west coast to the east coast and back is 8000 km I did that some years ago on a Vstrom. It was a great ride achieving 1432km in one day. Ten days in total, a nice easy ride. Need to be watchful for Kangaroos and Emus especially, at dawn and dusk. I thinking about doing a very long ride like this onTricy as she has a very comfortable seat. I have covered mine with black lambswool for extra comfort, removable if it rains.
Wow, 1432km in one day! I must not think about that amount during my trip. For me 200km is already a lot. Tricy is also a nice name. I hope you can enjoy your long ride soon.

Voordeel is dat die naast de Yamaha ook de Piaggio en Peugeot in het assortiment heeft, zodat je ze goed met elkaar kan vergelijken. Je moet echter wel de mogelijkheden hebben om daar naartoe te gaan ...
Ik zou willen zeggen gewoon een nieuwe bestellen als je het geld ervoor hebt. Het is echt een geweldige machine. Ik heb sinds 2009 mijn rijbewijs en sinds 2014 eigenlijk geen auto meer gereden, alleen openbaar vervoer. Ik werd er doodziek van elke keer die vertragingen en besloot 2 maanden geleden ook voor een 3 wiel motor te gaan. Eerst dacht ik ook aan de MP3 maar toen ik de Yamaha zag staan en wat info heb opgevraagd ben ik er gewoon voor gegaan. Als je al wat (grote) scooter ervaring hebt dan is het rijden op de Yamaha een peulenschil. Hij voelt heel natuurlijk aan en rijd als een 2 wiel motor. Hij is wel zwaar dus daar moet je even aan wennen maar omdat hij dus heel natuurlijk aan voelt merk je het gewicht alleen als je hem weg wil zetten. Hij is wat fors en dat merk je aan de wind. Bij een matige wind voel je het wel. Het is allemaal even wennen maar ik zeg gewoon doen. Ik heb er geen seconde spijt van en ga de Tricity het hele jaar door gebruiken voor woon/werk. Overigens lach je je helemaal gek want de wegenbelasting is nu nog €33,- per kwartaal en hij rijd 1 op 35 ongeveer, dat is dus 320km op 1 tankje van €18,-. En parkeren, in veel gemeenten mag die gewoon op de stoep zonder parkeergeld. Een tip die ik kreeg, zet het kenteken naar de huizen toe of in elk geval niet naar de weg want de scanauto's maken geen verschil tussen een auto en de 3 wiel motoren.
Goede tip van dat kenteken! In vergelijking met de MP3 en de Metropolis is de Tricity nog licht van gewicht. Ik word persoonlijk meer uit balans gebracht door harde wind dan mijn Tricsy. Die blijft keurig in een rechte lijn doorrijden.
Ik rijd nu al een paar weken een Tricity in de kleur petrol blue en moet zeggen het rijd top. Woon werkverkeer is een eitje maar ook een flink stuk toeren gaat hem makkelijk af ( ook als je een keer de snelweg op moet ). Had proef gereden op een MP3 400 en toen de beslissing genomen om voor de Yamaha te gaan, voornamelijk voor de looks. Qua snelheid merk ik niet veel verschil alleen de soeplese in het voordeel van Yamaha is enorm. Groetjes en hopelijk veel plezier van je nieuwe Tricity 👍🏻

If I didn't have the experience of riding a bicycle and moped and driving a car, I wouldn't even think about buying a tricycle. But I also can't imagine how it is to ride a tricycle without this experience, In The Netherlands there are more bicycles than inhabitants and I learned how to cycle as a young child, so I am used to ride a balancing vehicle for about 60 years now. Although the two wheels in the front give the Yamaha Tricity more stability, it can still fall over. And if it starts to fall, the weight makes it very difficult to keep it upright. The seat height makes it difficult for shorter people to get both feet flat on the ground (I'm 1.78 m and I can hardly manage that) and in my opinion this is a requirement for inexperienced riders. If you have no experience at all, I would recommend starting with a less heavy and powerful vehicle and definitely getting some training first.
il existe le modèle 155 tricity chez Yamaha . il est un peut plus petit , a un planché plat , est un peut plus léger . le système des 2 roues a l avant est le même que le 300 . moi je le recommande fortement pour débuter ou pour une demoiselle .
If you mean how much I paid for my Tricsy, it is €10.499 including taxes and legal fees. The Netherlands isn't a cheap country regarding motorvehicles ...
