So the adults got out and left the children? I have seen countless reports over the years of child fatalities in house fires and in almost every one, the adults survived. Just recently, 5 children died in a single tragedy in St Louis. Just google "children die in house fire" and case after case comes up. Children depend on their parents and caregivers to protect them.
Children should not die. This is so heartbreaking.
