Not really. Unless they needed stitches. Then they wouldn't have to go. I use to work in metal stamping. You'd get little cuts all the time. Unless I needed stitches (rare) I would never go to ER. Think twice in 8 to 9 years. Also some of the smallest cuts bleed the most. Depends on where on you it is.

As those gloves are waterproof, the blood pooled all over my finger and into the others by the time someone noticed. Taking off my glove, my hand was bloody, but I realized what happened.... yet even explaining it and showing that it was a few day-old scab didn't stop the union rep and first-aider from documenting it like I lost a finger.
AND THEN O.S.H.A. WAS CALLED INTO THE BOOK STORE...AND SOMEONE FROM CORPORATE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THEIR ASS HANDED TO THEM.....AT LEAST THIS IS WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED.. ( and considering that this sounds like a Barnes & Noble that was having a cafe put in, I'm surprised that OSHA even let the whole place to be open at all during construction, because if any customer got hurt like that yeah that would have been a lawsuit and not just the tiny one! And the little joke of maybe the customer's should have hard hats given to them blah blah blah?!
