Just picked up this bat for my youngest to use USSSA, which he had similar results from his batting practice with his team. As for a “budget bat” I guess - it’s crazy to consider this anything close to a budget bat but since majority of bats are now $300 dollars or more makes spending $200 cheap 😵💫. Also I discovered this Clout from visiting a local batting cage who had the 2023 version. Comparing the two, the older model which you can pick up for $100 or less weighs one 1 oz less compared to this 2025 model. But the 2025 feels more premium feel with thicker grip and larger end cap. Thanks for showing me the exit velocity and comparing it to the Icon. Definitely showing this video to my boys tonight.
@@phil8253 yeah times have definitely changed lol. Crazy $2-300 is considered budget. But that seems to be the times we’re in. Things like the marucci f5, code and this are all $120-$200 and all very solid options. The icon is definitely hotter. But also a good bit harder to swing and control
Sadly we have not. Was hoping that LS would come out with an updated version of it this year but it seems they are not. I may see if I can pick one of the latest model up!
@@carlosmunoz588 going to possibly see if I can get my hands on one. From what I have been told it is the same bat as the 2023/2024 just a repaint. But I would like to get one to see how it compares
Great review! I’m surprised clout didn’t beat Mach by 1-2mph. Based on thicker handle comment, it sounds like 2025 might be slightly different than 2024 version. Either way, solid result beating out several high dollar composites and all other alloys (so far). I picked up the 2024 for $100 and 2023 for $75 both new on sale.
@@ShaneClancy-ry5dx honestly overall it felt better than the Mach, but the Mach had this like tiny spot where it would absolutely rocket the ball. Yeah it was extremely good especially considering the price. Was a great recommendation!
An interesting option you don’t see drop 12 a whole lot in USSSA. What age are you looking at this for? My concern on something like for anything more than like 8-9u is that there isn’t enough mass behind the ball and the kids aren’t purely strong enough to power through the ball with something so light. But it would definitely be interesting to test
@@PerformanceFactoryBaseball My son is is 11u and moving up from a 29/19. I had him swing the 30/18 to get used to the length. He was able to get barrels with this bat but I am not sure how this bat does against a USSSA alloy.
@@ryneratliff4473 sadly we never swung last years. That being said I have heard from a few people that last years is very good also and probably a steal at $80.
Honestly in our testing the clout felt more consistent and easier to swing. Mach is good too but the clout is extremely good and forgiving for the price.

Great stuff, would love to see how the Clout, MachAI, and MAV1 compare to a Marucci CatX2 one piece.
Yeah would like to get our hands on the new mav1 and the x2. Maybe also the new Demarini voodoo.
Thanks!
Have you guys reviewed LS Select Power USSSA -10? Any thoughts on it.

How would you compare swing weight and feel of Clout AI vs CatX2 Comp?
Clout is much lighter. I would say the Cat x2 comp is a medium to slightly heavy swing weight.
Will you be doing the 2025 Atlas drop 10 anytime soon?

@PerformanceFactoryBaseball looking to go up to a 28/18 for my son, still undecided. Thank You.

Can you review the Louisville Slugger Meta One (-12)? I am curious how the numbers stack up against drop 10 alloy bats.

Any idea if this is just a repaint of last year or is it new tech? I am looking to pick one up and last year's version is on sale for $80.

Which one do you recommend for drop 10? The clout or mack?

Mach
They still make the 5150, and the 5150 is end loaded while the clout is very balanced, atleast in -10
@@ShaneClancy-ry5dx Clout is the replacement. And yes, it's lighter swinging.
